Everyone should follow absolutvt69's example and get addicted to the brilliance that is Y The Last Man. Honestly guys, the best comic books out there right now usually don't involve spandex.
My only hope is that the Big Lebowski kills me before the Germans can cut my d### off.

Eh.
I've never read it, never seen it at the store either, so I have no clue what it is, but the tittle reminds me of the comic series Marvel had years back, the name was "Nth Man" or some such.
Coincidentally I went through about half of the first trade last night and was pleasantly surprised. I thought Vaughn was OK on Swamp Thing, but he really did nothing for me, so I avoided his later stuff. It looks like his writing really improved (or maybe having his own characters to play with helped). I may have to backtrack and find some more trades.

could be a coincedence, or someone used telepathy to superimpose the idea onto your mind that you should half the trades... I suspect it was that weird bald guy in the wheel chair who looks like Capt Picard, but I may be wrong.
I started Y with the first three TPB's I've been collecting it ever since. Haven't read the latest issue yet, but its been a great series so far. Wow I used to think that being the last man on earth would be a godsend, erm, um, ahhhhhh no.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
I like Y but I think it's much better when purchased in trade format. Single issues seem to drag and there tends to be little resolution. If you read the trade then the entire story unravels all at once an makes for a more interesting read.
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."

Teen Titans # 37 More soppy handwringing. Sigh. Oh, and the Brotherhood's defeated, and the Brain's a brain again. And the last scene, with the kiss, will probably tick off fans of those characters, among whose number I am not included.
I wish that they had shown more of the fight with the Brotherhood. I've just started reading DC regularly: Was it common knowledge before this ish that the Brain alleges the Chief rigged the accident that killed his body?
Mark my words...
Robin WILL get a Superboy clone up and running... And the Brain WILL steal the body!

Hey, that actually sounds like kind of a good idea.
Tho, I think something like that happened a few years ago, some superhero had his brain removed and replaced with Adolph Hitler's brain. I can't remember who it was or how it happened, but I think the JSA was involved.

Dyna-Mite was the hero in question. It was in an Elseworlds story about the All-Star Squadron titled The Golden Age. Adolph had help from the Ultra-Humanite, and Hitler/Dyna-Mite's new name was Dynaman.
And, of course, in actual continuity, Johnny Thunder's brain was replaced with the Ultra-Humanite's.
Thank you for clearing that up for me, Simon. I had also forgotten it was an "Elseworlds" tale too, so thanks for that as well. Now, if only I could find it in the TBP aisle.
