At above 250 points, I could make it a major gripe that he doesn't have any move and attack, but that's okay... with his 10 range, enemies can come to him. Or you can just TK him out and immediately follow through with a big attack; that works too.
Thanos is made all the lovelier due to the Power Cosmic TA; rendering him immune to outwit; sparing him the 25 point investment in Fortitude that most other bricks of this weight class require. Now you can just load up with 31 points in nanoarmor and repulsor shields rather than the typical cheese brick 50 point investment in Fortitude and repulsor.
He's just godly all down the dial and I love it. He's also incredibly comic accurate; I was immensely pleased with his clicks of high damage CCE; an aspect of his character that's definitely valid, though rarely addressed.
ICWO goes a long way on him too; particularly for click 3 where his 12AV is still fearsome but the mere 3DaV without psychic blast, not so much.
The sculpt is decent but disappointing as we've yet to see Thanos' famous chair, and the sculpt of the now-irrelevant IC Thanos is way more imposing than this one that just seems to be bored with his surroundings.
Bad Mutha' (shut yo' mouth) Just talking about Thanos!
Damn... just...Damn. There isn't a bad clix on him. He doesn't need a Taxi. If you don't bring it to him hard and fast, he delivers the whuppin' constantly. The slulpt is arrogant, his stats are deadly, and his team ability allows him to be as relentless as you would expect Death's boyfriend to be. His only weakness would be two Iron Spiders with Stunning Blow.
Scary.

I must say, the only character I love more than Thanos is Batman, and he had to be in a different comic universe. Thanos is a beast. I love the sculpt, it actually captures him when he's not killing something (which is acutually something he doesn't do). Now I know he has no move/attack powers but running shot really doesn't fit him although I think he could warrant a click or preferrebly two of charge. Phasing though is totally accurate. Love all the psychic blast and am very happy there isn't any superstrength. Yeah, he's got it but doesn't bonk anyone with an object. Lots of damage reduction and glad they put regeneration. PC and outwit was mandatory. While he could have leadership, it would only inflate his cost. And those attack values are sick, as his damage. While the cce is interesting, I would actually prefrerred flurry on those clicks. I think it's more accurate and would have helped in those swarm situations. All that goodness with power cosmic thrown in. While Thanos is stronger than this dial (his point cost could actually be up there with E-2 Supes) this is a great representation of him.
Definetely my favourite clix, what a monster!
He's got a beast of a dial, but more than that, he's got a fear factor that doubles his power! People just run away from him instead of putting up a fight!!<br>
Only gave a 4 on accuracy - the guy deserves more Phasing or more movement on the first slot (like Darkseid). He's Marvel's master teleporter, geez!
Parallax just looks worse and worse with every new figure in the 250 point range. For 3 points less, Thanos gains superior range and stats, plus a team ability that makes him most effective as the one-man-force he's likely to be in the standard 300-point game. Power Cosmic's immunity to Outwit and pushing for free are vital. And look at that attack value! Full disclosure moment: I never -- NEVER -- expected to ever see another 13 attack value on an 11-click figure in Heroclix. Pretty much one of the best of the super-high-cost standard figs and the prize Unique of Supernova.
God is smarter than we are....

One of the best one-man armies in 300 point sealed games. I've seen Thanos defeated, but I've never seen him do badly (outside of ridiculous bad luck).
Nothing says "I wanted to win this tourney too much" than feilding this lump of cosmic plastic in a 300 point game. Nothing says like "you tried to hard" than a Darkhawk psyblasting him for his dial over 2 turns.
