Due to the "Hive" mentality of his culture he verged between True Communism (as written in the Manifesto - which he adored when he discovered it) and Socialism...so he hated being drafted into the "fascist iron fist of the UP - aka: The Legion". Thing was after the draft was removed his people didn't want him back.

CeCe - whose name is an homage to the man who made Captain Marvel famous - is in the inheritor of the Shazam! legacy that eventually ended up teaming (and becoming a brief and then honourary member) of the LSH. She actually came from long after they were gone but, well, time-travel shenanigans and all that. She appeared in the "Power of Shazam!" Dead Earth's Annual.

I miss Thunder. I thought she had a lot of potential and was a great twist on the "member from the past" shtick. Sadly, when DnA took over they gave her one of the worst exits in Legion history.
