Also, I agree with everything you said. Hulk is even more a monster now, and the fact that he's not "insane" is even cooler. He knows what he's doing(Bruce that is) and I just think this will be so much more then a regular Hulk buster mission.

Remember, the Hulk persona and Bruce are seperate entities. This is not Bruce in control of Hulk, this is Hulk in control of himself. The current Hulk is most reminicent of the Hulk right after the Onslaught story. He was still smart but without the moral compass of Bruce (which was present in the Hulk persona of the proffessor hulk... where hulk believed himself to be banner... which he actually never was... it was only another personality which was brought to the surface by Doc Samson... confusing enough?).
This is my favorite version of the Hulk. Smart but mean, with just enough goodness in him that he ends up doing the right thing... but in his own way.
Also, I bet I know what will make Hulk get so angry he can take Black Bolt... It'll probably happen in the second to last issue of Planet Hulk... but I won't say what I think it is as it's full of spoilers. GO READ PLANET HULK RIGHT NOW!!
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."

Ahh, gotcha! Thanks. I haven't read Planet Hulk, I'm waiting for the trades. So Hulk who knows what he's doing but he can be a ##### if he wants? Nice.
After reading about the big panel for the event, I'm now tempted to pick up the Front Line tie in for the series. Though the only issue really doing that is #3 which will have Hulk taking on the Thing.
I have the feeling I'll need to pick up a lot of Hulk trades when this over though. Hopefully most of Planet Hulk will be out by then.
Also, I too will be picking up a lot of Hulk trades. I never liked the character, but lately I've been pretty interested.
Oh, and Thing vs. Hulk? Sweet!
*GASP*
n...n... never liked the hulk?!?!
*passes out*

I hope Marvel doesn't mess this one up! The only way they can kill this crossover is have some action in the beginning, then the next 5 issues nothing but dialogue happen, and finally cram all the action in on issue, with Hulk giving up.... Give us what we want! Hulk action for most of the story!
Also...I don't think Hulk will have a chance once the Illuminati comes together...I mean, they each hold an Infinity Gem...I bet they'll end up coming together to use it against the Hulk. That would also help Prof. X get his power back, since he had to hide the mind gem.
I went into World War Hulk as more of a continuation of Civil War/The Initiative. Kind of interested in what happened but still not totally excited about it. But after seeing this?
What caught my eye was the mention of a cross-over between Spidey and Red Sonija. That's been done before, when Marvel had the rights to Red, and it was her spirit that possessed MJ-Watson. Spidey does seem to have a thing for red-heads.
Back on subject... Love the cover to Iron Man #19 that they show.
Blackbolt screaming..... That "sounds" interesting.
WWH looks awesome and I can't wait to see Hulk kick some Illuminati @$$.
On a side note, the line by Hulk, "You shot me into space!" from the preview pages reminds me of Brock Sammson's line "They hit me with a TRUCK." from the first Venture's Brothers episode.

I would love to see how 616 Tony would deal with Ultimates Cap.
ultimates cap would have backed tony
