Despite the bombardment of Starfire's energy bolts, Killer Frost, crumpled in a heap, raised a hand at her enemy. If you looked closely, you could see a faint sign of ice forming on her fingertips. Clearly not the ice projectiles she was hoping for.
"Rest, Crystal," the Empress said as she flew behind the villainess. "You have fought well. Your mistress is pleased."
The Empress grabbed both Killer Frost's hands as the Emerald Eye enveloped them both in a beam of light. Once the ray disappeared, so did Killer Frost. But the Empress was still stood, and somehow looked more ... vibrant. The scar along her face and neck from Katana's attack faded, and the Empress' grin grew wider.
"Congratulations, Outsiders!" the Empress said. "You've dwindled the numbers of the Fatal Five! Now, prepare to truly learn how my team gained its namesake!"

1) The Empress moves to E14 and declares Suicide Squad.
2) Killer Frost needs a critical hit to hurt Starfire, but doesn't get it. (1,4). That's a push and a KO for Starfire.
free - Suicide Squad roll for the Empress is a 5. Minus 2 for the heal, she goes to full health.

The Bat has disapeared and the Agent looks nervous. Then a concussion grenade drops at his feet. Bats on Agent, 9 on 14, needing 5, Roll is: 3,3 for a hit, 2 clix and knockback to M7.
Starfire takes a shot at the Empress, hoping to show her proficient skills as a Markswoman. But, the shot goes way wide on the invigorated Empress. Needing 9, rolling (1,2) a 3.

A green tractor beam caught hold of Katana's sword.
"What a vicious device, my dear," the Empress said, clutching Katana by the throat. "The Eye tells me the souls of those this instrument has killed reside within. A very mystical weapon, which explains how you were able to pierce through the Eye's protection earlier. What would happen if you were to die by your own sword, my dear?"
Katana struggled to pry loose of the Empress's grip.
"What spirit," the Empress said. "Very well. I will not condemn you to imprisonment in this infernal weapon. Yet."
Instead, a second green blast of energy erupted across the roof.

"Kori, don't, I need a lift so that I can get this device on Empress." Bats says.
Kori looks across the battlefield and sees Katana raise her sword.

1) Emerald Empress pulse waves for ... boxcars. Katana is KO'd, Starfire takes 2 damage and is knocked back to I17. Empress takes push damage.
Free) Proximity Mines roll, because Starfire was knocked back to I17, the space with the LO. That roll is a 5. She takes 1 damage.

Ouch...luckily no injuries are given for multiple target attack boxcars. Yeah this has been a brutal game, but still a GOOD game on both sides. It can go either way! Very exciting!

Good to know about the injury deal. Glad the rules were set up that way for everyone's sake.
Actually, multiple target attacks can still cause injuries (though only one of the hit characters will be injured), it's just that a multi-target Pulsewave (or energy explosion, I think) won't cause any injuries

"Kori, take a minute and choose your next action very carefully. I need you to try and split her focus, but not by standing and fighting." Kori clears.
