Libra is definatly male, and Renee does not have blue eyes.
That didn't stop Echo from being Ronin, with mussles that would have made Arnold Schwarzenegger cry.
On a different topic, has anyone been reading Northlanders? I bought issues 1, 2-6 and was wondering if this is a continuation of a previous series, a new series, or a mini series. It's done under Vertigo, but that's DC.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"

Who ever said the art in Final Crisis was bad was smokin' crack! J.G. Jones is one of the better artists out there on the market. It didn't look the same as his 52 covers but it was great nonetheless. It's a fine start to the series and I am looking forward to it, with a great finale. The death of MM was handled perfectly, heck Libra punked him admitting he wouldn't want to face him one on one and not drugged. Could do without the ghetto reimagining of the New Gods though.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
I found FInal Crisis to be a little troublesome from the aspect of JJ's death. In Salvation Run #6 Luthor defends JJ, basically saying that killing him would be a waste of good leverage, as he was a pawn/poker chip they could trade in at some point. He also mentions that JJ's death would rile up a hornet's nest of trouble from the hero community. It would have been nice to see some sort of reversal on his opinion, or any response from Luthor when this happened...
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

But MM was left on the Salvation Planet and the villians obviously got off it, so they didn't need him anymore. Salvation Run #7 will clear up a lot of stuff, that, how Vandal is back with the Society, Grodd is alive, (just hearing him go THUD off a cliff off panel isn't enough I know), and the fact that Joker died (as implied in DC Universe), but came back more like his newest movie incarnation.

I don't recall Grodd being killed. I remember him killing Mallah and Brain tho.

That was already shown in "Batman". The Joker was shot in the face at the beginning of Morrison's run, then went through a psychological "rebirth" in later issues, giving him an even more deadly persona and the scarred face.
we could BE so lucky. Then we'd at least see Doctor Fate again. That and near his actual power level, as opposed to the 47 random losers that have worn the helmet since the first Crisis.
Rep for that. I know that loads of people love Steve Gerber, and that he just recently died and all, but IMO the Dr. Fate part of Countdown to Mystery was just eight straight issues of suck.
