Good week for DC. And maybe I'll even go back and read that Wonder Woman strip, since people here are high on it.

Highlight for me was the Metal Men back-up. There was something a little off about Maguire's work here. Still nice, but it didn't seem to be up to par with his better stuff.

Cry For Justice, surprisingly, bucks the trend and actually acknowledges Countdown. Truth be told, some of the Ray Palmer stuff in that series was pretty decent and worthwhile. Nonetheless, if the write-up by Robinson is an indication (and his track record), he'll embrace everything that's been done with a character and run with it.

World of New Krypton was still good, but I was a little disappointed that they backed off the finality of last issue's surprising climax.

Speaking of that. in the First issue... mm Wonder Woman in that panel with Hawkgirl, Red Tornado and Red Arrow... mmm Wonder Woman should be more careful... mm her costume, mmmm, anyways, who is watching?
