Hey spike, give him the benefit of the doubt, he could be a 'child prodigy' who graduated from high school at the age of 12...........hence the need for prom and college money........of course I don't know too many 'child prodigies' who can't spell, or use the English language properly (just take a look at his past posts to see what I mean )

I personally feel that Timashi shouldn't be allowed to trade or sell at all after this thread. He has proven he is very shady just by the responses that were posted. Calling into question the fact that:

A) claims is only 13 and thus is not old enough to enter into binding deals on this site, thus meaning no one can go after him if he does not keep up his end of a deal where he received money or figures before sending out his end of the deal.

B) has repeatedly put up threads needing money for college books, and I believe a laptop for college, etc.. (calling his age into question is he really 13 or what)

C) has proven that he is continuously changing his story, and has thus proven does not speak the truth and is hiding things.

D) Has admitted to associating with a known thief, rip off artist, scum bag.......

With all this lyin', cheatin' and double-dealin', I completely regret that I made a trade with him. Based on our communication prior to this thread, he seemed like a kid (18, not 13) that had screwed up and deserved a chance to prove himself. His backpedaling double-talk here has totally soured me on that notion.

So I'm going to say this right now, publicly. Timashi says that he shipped Magus to me the other day, but apparently didn't use delivery confirmation, since he hasn't given me a number, despite my encouragement for him to use it.

*If* the figure arrives, I'm going to take the box, unopened, to the post office, and send it back to him, with delivery confirmation. It's worth a couple of bucks to me to make sure there's proof I returned it, so he can't come out and accuse me of something.

Given the circumstances, I don't think that's out of line. If that plan is breaking some kind of rule or ethical guideline, I'm happy to discuss it with a mod.

TBH with you, I wouldn't blame you for doing that. However, according to the 'Trading Rules' that might be grounds for a Neutral (possibly Negative?) Feedback from him, which is I am sure the last thing you want.

This (IMO) is what you should do:

If you get the figure, accept the package, and keep it. Send him his end of whatever you agreed to trade, with Delivery Confirmation. Leave Positive Feedback, but give as detailed an account as you can of what transpired, leaving a link in the Feedback to this thread. People need to know about his poor trading habits (if they don't already).

Be done with it, and move on.

Of course, if the figure never arrives...........

Just tossing this in. I started working when I was 12 to earn money. I started to work "legally" when I was 14. I walked to post office constantly because I was selling and buying on eBay. One can only make so many excuses.

Okay, just so everyone knows... I got Magus and Thor Girl from Timashi today, in good condition with adequate but not terrific packaging. He never sent me his address via PM, had to get it from the package itself. Still don't have his name, which wasn't on the return address, so I can't send his figures until I get it (post office won't accept a package with out an addressee). So, I'm waiting to hear back from him.

Or, since he's apparently a 13-year-old college-bound kid getting ready for the prom, you could address it to -- wait for it -- "Doogie Howser, M.D." Legendary!

That adds more fuel to the fire of shadiness in my opinion. Why not provide your name and address in a pm as required by said rules of trading? If he leaves you a neutral saying that you never sent your end, or that it took a long time to receive his figs, I would talk to mod to get it removed because he didn't give you the proper information required to send them out.

and about the address thing I have had to get peoples address from the package itself before so i didnt think it was a problem. I just sent him my mailing info so its all taken care of.
