I am surprised at the number of people calling Darkhawk "meh." You really have to play him to see how good he is.

Have you seen Darkhawks keywords he can fit nicely into almost all of them and play as a secondary attacker who dosnt want a 56 point beast? I DO I REALLY DO!

I love Darkhawk, but Heatwave gets my vote.

Darkhawk, longer life and better stats

Darkhawk. He has served me quite well in the past.

If Heatwave gets the first shot off at range, then maybe he could pull it off, but with a speed of 8 and L/C, the only way that Heat Wave should be getting the first shot off is if he pushes, and even that can be avoided depending on the map.

Darkhawk will fit into more theme teams. With Heat Wave it is Rogues or nothing, and in my experience the Rogues are more "fun" than "competetive". Darkhawk may not have the greatest keywords, but I will take the WCAs or Teens over Rogues.

Even if you are looking for ranged support on a non-theme team, an argument exists in my mind that Darkhawk does better with the higher base damage and shorter range, along with late dial PB, than Heat Wave does with his four clicks of 1 damage RCE, and again, if you base Darkhawk he gets away or slugs it out. Heat Wave has to try to get away or he will get KOd.

Besides, I used Darkhawk during the first week of the CoG tourney, and he was arguably my most valuable player.
