Yea, I wondered why you would do that. Sharpshooting is Kick A@@ ability. I thought maybe you would move next to Metallo to keep him tied up, so Ollie could get another shot.

It was that or let you clobber him to death. Better to go out like a hero than a lamb. Plus it'll make for a good end-post!
Turn 12 (Player 2)
1) Another swing in the "won't give you the satisfaction!" gambit, WW pushes to attack Metallo. And why not? Rolls a 4 (1,3) for a big miss. She's out, and that's game.
Gotta say I'm surprised it wound up as close as it did. Not that it was close really - no chance my decimated forces could've toppled Metallo from his top click. But there was a point where I thought the game was just flat-out over, but it ended up coming down to a 1-on-1. Not bad. Well played, sir - thanks for the run!

Wonder Woman looked around her and took stock. Nearly everyone had fallen; whatever had driven Metallo here, it had filled him with a level of desperation they had never witnessed in him. That and some clear upgrades to his robotic chassis had led to a fight far beyond what they had expected. She blamed herself – had she not been so shaken by the sight of that metal… thing with Superman’s face, then she could have more effectively led her team. As it was, they were all fighting with raw emotion but none of the skill or competency they normally would have brought to bare.
“Hera, be with me,” she prayed, kissing her thumb. “Athena, guide me to the answer…”
Her eyes opened to see the robotic mecha that had been Metallo’s head charging toward her. It held a piece of concrete like a massive bludgeon, and its jaws snapped at her venomously.
“Away!” she shouted. Her voice boomed and she swung both fists at him to drive his first swing aside. The metal of her bodice and bracers caught the light and the glare was blinding. He stepped back, looked to where Green Lantern had flown and decided to chase easier prey. For just a moment she thought she had seen an aura surrounding her and an odd fear in her robotic opponent’s eyes. With a whispered thanks to the gods, she took flight.

Kyle had flown west for a better vantage point, but hadn’t made it more than half-way when shots were fired his way. His strength was severely waning, and he was having a hard time focusing his will through the ring on his hand. His feeble shields were enough to blunt most of the lethality from the shots, but as he spun to look at the robot wading through the shallow pond toward him he knew that he was in for a lot worse.
The thing that had been an arm was essentially all gun; both arms had formed massive blaster cannons and Gatling guns swiveled over its shoulders. But as Kyle tried to pull together green thoughts, more of its body transformed, merging into a supercannon. He’d seen that thing drop Power Girl – he was not taking a chance with it on his own. Especially as hurt and exhausted as he was.
His ring flared to life, engulfing his body in a green barrier that solidified into mech-armor of his own. He launched through the air at the thing and grabbed it by the torso. He squeezed with his hands and his ring plunged sharp spiked tongs into the robot’s body. With a heave, he lifted the thing off the ground and pulled hard for altitude and clear sky.
“You can’t stop me,” the robot said.
“Who said that?” Kyle huffed. “I didn’t hear that. And I’d remember, because if somebody had said it before then I would have had some kind of witty response.”
“You think taking this piece of me out shuts me down?” it laughed. “This is just a fraction of my body – and not even an important fraction!”
“Yeah, well… couldn’t leave a loose cannon on the field. Important or not, without your arms you won’t be playing piano any time soon.”
Its only response was to transform its weapons configuration and open fire. At this range, there wasn’t any way to dodge – he just had to focus all his will toward keeping his armor intact and hope he could hold out long enough.
Clouds gave way to open sky as he raced for the stratosphere. The g’s were impacting him pretty hard, and he didn’t have enough mental flexibility left to focus on his armor and dampen the g-forces at the same time. As it was, he could feel the gunfire breaking through his ring’s defenses. He was almost out of time.
Then he remembered that a robot didn’t need to breathe, and his whole plan was gutted.
“Well, s###,” he said to himself. “That’s what I get for trying to strategize when I can barely think straight. Plan B it is.”
The robot’s only response was to keep firing.

Wonder Woman saw Green Lantern in the distance falling from the sky. The dull echo of his impact as he crashed to the earth rolled toward her and she hoped he had survived. It only strengthened her resolve to end this fight right now.
“Metallo!” she shouted as she charged him from behind. “You are through!”
Her punch flew true, but Metallo simply caught it. Though his hand crumpled and the bolts all the way up his arm burst out, he absorbed the blow and turned her aside.
“You don’t understand, lady – I got nothing left to lose! Living like this is worse than death, and I can’t feel anything you do to me. I can keep going until this body just quits, and if I do then I’m no worse off than before. You won’t kill me, you can’t stop me forever—I can’t lose!”
“I disagree,” Superman’s voice shouted from above. Wonder Woman looked up to see him swoop down and slam Metallo to the ground. She could literally see the robotic parts of his body repairing themselves right before him. All the damage he’d taken and he was already nearly as good as new.
Great Hera… what is this thing that bears his face?
“This is done, Metallo,” Superman said. He reached down and clamped his fingers into the metal of his chest, pressing into the solid steel like it was sponge-cake. One cyborg lifted the other and before she could ask what he was planning, the thing that looked like Superman was gone, and Metallo with him.
“Wh—what happened?” Power Girl huffed, flying over. “Where’d—where’d he go?”
“I do not know,” Wonder Woman said, watching the sky. “But we have too many wounded to follow. Check on Green Arrow; I’ll find Green Lantern where he fell.”
“Al—alright,” Power Girl nodded, clearly unsure and deeply shaken, but too much in shock to argue.
As Wonder Woman took flight, she activated her communicator and switched it to a specific frequency. She needed to make a call – if she couldn’t chase after the cyborg Superman, someone else would have to.
“Batman,” she said when he answered her call. “Something has happened. Everything… everything has changed.”
Awesome story post! Love how you clearly define Green Lantern at the end and the Wonder Woman KC ability.
Great Job.
As for the game, I think it would've been closer had you not allowed Krytonite man to affect Cyborg Superman. But you still made it a close game even with the Handicap, that shows your skill with Clix. Plus as always, the 100 point thing proved he is undercosted again!
Great Game, Looking forward to another in the future.
