I'm digging them as a team. They will add some great theme play to this set. Running a Violet Lantern Keyword team would be fun. We can almost expect a "Violet Lantern ATA" before long.
...Isn't there a rumour or something that Carol Ferris as Star Sapphire will be in this set too?
I had thought so, and recall seeing a pic of Carol over on Herclix World.

Were they ever referred to as the Violet Lantern Corps in the comics? I thought they were the Star Sapphires?
Never. (Good catch, btw.) They were always referred to as "Star Spphires", thuogh they were referenced as "wielding the Violet Light of Love", they were never referred to as "Violent Lanterns".

Eat, drink & be merry... for Cthulu will rise up from R'yelth to devour us all! Current trade list here
Even thought they're some of the most boring sculpts ever, I do like these figures. Can't wait to play an expencive team of them, Carol, and the BL Wonder Woman.
Generic Lanterns? Nice.... We could actually have decent low level lantern teams if they continue that logic.
I could see this for the Indigo Tribe, but I would hope they would stick to giving us actual characters for the rest. The GLC series works for me because they've focused the stories on a handful of characters. But even the ones who merely have bit roles have their own back stories. They did the same for the Sinestro Corps in that Secret Files book a few years ago. I wouldn't want to see a Karu-Sil or Isamot Kol sculpt on a dial titled "Green Lantern Recruit" or "Sinestro Corps Member."
Realizing WK will probably look for some opportunity to reuse a sculpt, I suppose there's Laira, who they could do as a Green and a Red.
I'm quoting this because i find it important to point out how the power creep is affecting our collections/investments...
Thanks for the quote. The first thing I saw was that starting click with those crazy numbers, especially with the Incap, Phasing, and Toughness, I thought for sure it would be AT LEAST a 100 point dial.
Then I saw the point cost of 67 and almost choked! That point cost is bananas just looking at the first click.
I didn't even mention the 6 range, which some characters are lucky to get, even when they deserve a 6 or better range.
I'm not sure how the "calculator" came up with 67 points for that dial. It's unreal....
It's not a complaint per se, but generics, even cosmic generics shouldn't have better dials than most of the JLA and Avengers, but if they do, they should probably be a little more appropriately costed.
I mean looking at the Zamaron dial (without looking at the point cost), you could call that a Martian Manhunter or Super Skrull dial and you'd probably be happy to get it!

Wow, Queen and Two guards in 300 points... I betting they could take on alot more than people are thinking. Good attack values, Mind control and 2 incaps every turn would totally lock down a non-swarm team and each of the figs is capable of breaking impervious. They look stupid but I can't wait to frustrate people to death.
I really, really, really wish there was a real-life situation where I could tell a large group of people, "YOU ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO SPEAK THE WORDS TO LIONEL RICHIE'S SONG, HELLO, AS YOU ARE INTIMIDATING PEOPLE."
