Watched Hitchcock's "Lifeboat" last night. Very good, but at times he tried to draw the suspense out too long (the sequence near the end when they're trying to catch a fish). It's still an excellent movie.
Last one I watched I think was the South Park Movie. Haha such a good movie for just wasting an afternoon cartoon musicals are def where it's at. It actually had significance in the modern world too, it's great.
I watched "To Have and Have Not" last night. I always think it's kind of funny funny a novel by Hemingway was turned into a film with a screenplay written by Faulkner. It's kind of a second-rate "Casablanca", but it still has Bogart, I prefer Lauren Bacall to Bergman, and Walter Brennan almost makes up for the lack of Claude Rains.
This morning I watched "And Then There Were None" a murder mystery based on an Agatha Christie novel. I didn't get the murderer right (no, it wasn't the butler), because I kept expecting there to be secret passages (no, it wasn't Colonel Mustard either), or a surprise guest the other weren't aware of (yes, I'm positive it wasn't the butler!)
Watched Fitzcarraldo and was generally unengaged. There are certainly some insane and ambitious things in that film, but I have to admit I got more from the documentary about it, than the thing itself.
It's a nice triumph story, but I think the main character is a little too removed from average people to identify with, which sort of seems the point. Maybe not.

Yeah, the wife and I watched limitless the other day. It wasn't bad. In fact it was better than I thought it was GOING to be. I like it when movies live up to expectations and even exceed them at times. Just like when we watched "Source Code" (Or as I like to call it "GOOD Inception")

Yeah, watched Limitless with the wife myself, one of the Bradley Cooper is of course one of her favorite actors but one of the few she likes I dont mind watching as he's usually in pretty good movies.
Saw Source Code too in the theater again like you said much better than expected.

Finally finished Cronos, and I really liked it. The plot wasn't much, but it was genuinely creepy. Not too much ground-breaking stuff, but it was all very well done. Gotta stop watching movies during my lunch break, though. That does not work.

Here is an obscure one i saw on Netflix that was just so crazy its beyond words. Zardoz if you havent seen it look it up its gotta be one of the weirdest movies ever made.
I've been watching a lot of earlier Hitchcock films recently. "The Lady Vanishes" and "Night Train to Munich" were OK, I didn't really care for either. I liked "Foreign Correspondents" a lot, things kept moving, there was a bit of silliness at time, but plenty of twists and close calls.
