I also was one of the unfortunate to not have met Paul. But a member of our community is a member of my family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Paul, his family, and his friends.
I had the pleasure of knowing Paul and I always looked forward to seeing him at the conventions and Clix for the Cure. Like everyone has said, he always had a smile on his face. Even when things weren't running smoothly, he was always friendly and had a good thing to say about the events. He will be missed.
Awhile back there was a great post, during thugit's Bane marathon of usage, when Paul- and many more of your group- wrote of his epic Blackhawks swarm upsetting the game. I don't know any of you, yet I immediately saw how fun and close you guys all were. I recalled because: A. I love Blackhawks and B. It was obvious you guys have a great local group.
Sorry for you guys' loss. I hope his family is doing ok, and that they know what an impact he had on so many good people
Yep. He used the Blackhawks to take down Bane. He needed a crit hit just to hurt Bane, and so that's what he did. He pulled off incredible upsets on a weekly basis, simply because he was a mad Heroclix genius.
Just read this thread and it's honestly got my eyes watered up. So sorry for the loss. Appreciate the time you have. Don't know what the health issues were but it sounds like it could be time for another Clix for the Cure in his honor.
prayers and thoughts for Paul's friends and family.
thugit, you run the huge game at gencon? or is that someone else? just thinking i prob met him at a gencon or two.

sorry for your loss, i know none of you but have felt the deep pain of loss of family and friends.
it doesn't seem like it now but in time the sadness and bitterness becomes bittersweet, then it in time it become comforting. comforting in the knowledge their pain is over, comfort in the precious memories you have and comfort in legacy left by your friend.
My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and fellow Clixers. It sounds like this man was truly a very awesome guy. Not too many people are like him anymore. I wish I could be more like that.
My prayers go out for him and his family. It seems like the world, and the game of Clix will be at a loss. And for him to die so young (37) is truly sad.
I'm 38 and I know when it is my time to go, I won't be missed much by many people, so I can say that hearing about Paul, and how he approached life with positivity should inspire all of us to better ourselves and become better people. If there is any lesson to be learned from this it is that we can go at anytime and they we should cherish life, treat others good, and be thankful that we wake up every morning to face another day.

Like many others have posted I did not no Paul but after reading some of the posts he seemed like the person that made clix a better game. The reason I like this game is because of all the people that put helping a newbie out first and winning 2nd because I too am a newbie and if it was not for people like Paul I probly would not have had the interest to keep playing. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.
