wow: people are really complaining that he doesn't have a coin toss special? than what would you call 1-3 or 4-6? seems like 50/50 odds to me... like a coin toss :P
rolling a die isn't the same as flipping a coin!!!! nerds and geeks role die! cool gangsters and mob bosses flip coins!!!!!! B^)
i kinda have to agree with the flippers though it really should be a coil flip, yea its still 50/50 but come on... its freakin TWO FACE!!!! HE NEEDS TO FLIP A COIN!!!!
Don't get why they went with dice symbols with a dot between them instead of just putting 1-3 and 4-6. It's not like they're saving space or the roll is gonna get modified.
Agreed. The dot threw me off. I first read it and thought, "OK so if you roll and 1 and a 3 you got the defense, where as if you got a 4 and a 6 you had the attack bump."
I thought it was stupid...then I read it again and it made more sense.
He's fairly useful if you're up against stealth but a poor way to spend 49 points if you're not. I don't really see a place for him on most teams as there are better ways to spend the 49 points (either a different figure or more points towards a bigger guy). Great flavor though.
On a Batman Enemy team, his 11 attack will make him useful no matter what.

They have to adapt the rules to the equipment they provide with the game. Obviously you can just flip a coin (unless you're at Gen Con or something huge like that). I might even flip the giant coin that goes on the Batman Two-Face. Muahaha
Back on topic, have to agree that it's interesting to see a high AV (11.3 average on those first three clicks, wow) stealth-busting Batman Enemy. They needed a little love.

I just find it rather silly that they release Calendar Man, whose powers will probably require rather more than "the equipment [provided] with the game" -- I'm waiting for opponents to demand on-site calendar checks near equinox dates -- but they can't just give Two-Face a coin-flip power. Heck, the game's equipment already includes proxy coins -- object tokens, which come complete with a "heads" and a "tails" side. A roll of the dice just is not as cool as flipping a coin, and I intend to ask every single opponent's permission to substitute my Dark Knight Two-Face coin for a die.
On to this version of Two-Face, he's not the tentpole I've always wanted, but he is cheap and useful, with powers and traits that are more reliable than the ones from the Batman set. He won't break the bank, and his three clicks of strong AVs will come in very handy. He's practically tailor-made for Hired Henchmen, darting out from behind them to take potshots with his .22, sharing his high AV to help them out (they can go up to 12s with him!), and taking advantage of their Support if opponents go after him. Two-Face with a pair of Henchmen comes out to around 130 -- pretty reasonable as Bat-Villain packages go. I'm looking forward very much to playing him.
Thus far, these board-game pieces have been quite solid, indeed, and the game itself looks cool in concept. I think I'll pick it up without compunction.
I know it's been said a few times already .22 cal semi... I don't disagree with rce...but the wording could have been better for his flavor text. Really like his flip of the coin mechanic much more useful looking then the one we currently have in the recent set.
