Alright, who wants the Lonewolf on their team

If your 400 points are themey, your squad has theme pc. If your allies 400 points are themey, they have theme pc. So its possible for each ally to have their own 4 theme pcs.

Here's what I'm thinking so far:

Immobile object.

This object can't be destroyed.

Once per game per character, give a character occupying the same square as this object a power action and roll a d6, which can't be rerolled. Modify the result by +1 if the character has the "Robot" keyword.

On a result of 6, remove this object from the game and place it on that character's card. The character may immediately be given a free action to use Pulse Wave as if he had a range of 10. This use of Pulse Wave deals damage normally, except that no damage is dealt to friendly characters, and the character's damage value becomes 2 and is locked with respect to Colossal characters within the area of effect.

Modify the character's combat values by +1, and the character can use Leadership and Willpower. If the character is KO'd, place this object in the square that character last occupied.

I would not be opposed to that :-). That object really makes me want to build a robot theme team.

Question: Would "friendly characters" include your teammates' characters in this scenario?

I would say yes. That seems to be the spirit of the scenario.

Looks good, just probably needs to be a little pricier. I'm sure it compares with Mjolnir, but it should probably be more like Harvest Staff or the Infinity Gems.

Oh, and DC, would you be OK with Challenging Afrgc and Dbauers?

Yeah definitely. That free pulse wave and +stats is pretty expensive. 10-12 points?

I don't think it's anywhere near as powerful as the Harvest Staff.

I don't even see it as powerful as the Worthy hammers, which generally grant +2 to Attack plus an attack-oriented power like Charge or RS for 8 pts (and are easier to pick up for most characters).

The Pulse Wave is a one-shot deal, and the Matrix only grants Leadership and Willpower, rather than the more offense-oriented powers you can get from the Worthy Hammers, the Crimson Gem, and other relics. The +1 stat boost is probably the most useful bonus, but it's in keeping with Mjolnir, which grants +2 to attack and damage.

And compared to what you can get by spending 14 points on a Utility Belt ...
