I did find the current rule in the section where you pick your starting area (not where you place your team). Apparently the starting area expands as needed. It does come up when you are not playing 300 point modern. Especially on the smaller starting areas that have blocking terrain in them. I prefer to use all of my actions during each turn (including a +1 for leadership). Look at any team I've posted to see this, even the 200 point one I posted a few minutes ago has 8 figures on it. I do extremely well on a consistent basis too.
I'm looking at registering a cheap domain to host a blog now that I'm moving web hosts. I'm still working on this, but a bit slowly right now as some other things have come up (like the Dial H for HeroClix contest, where I'm currently designing SuperPro, but also work).
Further update: I've installed Drupal to serve as a CMS. Please have a look andf let me know what you think of the appearance. I've currently got it using the Bamboo theme with the Retro 2 background and Dark Rust color palette. I'm perfectly open to other suggestions. I intend to make a logo when I have time.
As for the blog, I haven't gotten to do much in the last couple days as I just haven't had time. I'll see what I can manage tonight and Friday, but at the same time I'm also preparing for the last WOL6 I'll likely have a chance to make on Saturday.
Do any of you have blog-designing experience? The Bamboo theme can work, but it's not ideal. For our logo I'm thinking of taking the HeroClix logo and just replacing the letters "HERO" with "OPEN," which would of course necessitate a more compatible color scheme than Bamboo naturally has.
All right, I've set a new theme as the default and made a logo. It's not a great logo, but it'll do, plus it emphasizes that we're not connected to WizKids at all. Have a look at the site. I'd inserted some standards for running team-based games, but I have a feeling it came out more a hot mess than anything usable. Please let me know what you think of the appearance and of content for Appendix H, which should be up-to-date for Marvel. I sorely need to update it for DC and Other.
Appendix H (Highlander Rule exemptions)— somebody(s) PLEASE help me with the video game sets so I know who/what is generic and who/what is not. It would also be nice to get some feedback on the Yu-Gi-Oh sets because I only know the show.
I knew Street Fighter had no generics. That's one video game universe I'm familiar enough with to know that. Basically, if it's been an XBox exclusive, I haven't played it.
