On Galactus' homeworld, Nova; Frankie Raye, and Firelord waited in anticipation.

Suddenly the hovering orb erupted and Galactus stepped forth in all his glory. No longer was he Galan, which he was reduced to after his epic battle with the Spectre who had not been heard from since.

Galactus was back, and the universe better take heed.

Hawkeye returned to his Markovian cell, confused by his current situation.

Wiccan delivered his charges to NYC where Shield, Checkmate, the DEO and everyome else learned of their presence and the three were hustled to the facility for a report.

Day 49: Late morning; an alternate reality in a replicated Markovia.

Elijah Bradley; the Patriot, was getting antsy as was the Hulkling about what had become of Wiccan, who should have been back by now.

Moonstone and Baron Zemo were near and they were ready to confront them but were waiting on the return of Wiccan.

Kate Bishop was keeping an eye on the villains and announced that they better do something soon or the two villains would get away.

Patriot cursed and ordered that the Young Avengers attack the two supervillains.

They confronted the villains and unfortunately for Elijah, he was knocked reeling by Moonstone and fell directly into a rift in reality.

Mark Anthony Todd, the Blazing Skull, had been working for Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch, for some time. Hammond wanted him to look for the Thin Man who Hammond had lost touch with.

Blazing Skull headed out and was engulfed by a rift in reality.

Kelsey Leigh; Lionheart, was stepping up, defending Britain in the absence of Captain Britain and the Black Knight.

She was flying out to confront a new threat from Morgan Le Fay when Kelsey flew directly into a rift in reality.

Brock Rumlow; Crossbones, was angry. He'd been on a mission for the Red Skull that he hadn't completed and now he was transported to some Godforsaken wheat field in the middle of nowhere. What the Hell was going on?

He looked around and saw the only transportation nearby was a beat up tractor in the wheat field. Irritated he began to walk over to the tractor to hotwire it when he heard a noise behind him and instinctively hid among the wheat stalks, crouching low.

He saw three figures emerge from separate rifts in reality.

As the three emerged, Lionheart asked who the other two were. They introduced themselves and Lionheart decided they had nothing to do with her abduction. Not seeing anyone who she might deem responsible for her abduction, Lionheart flew off to try to get back to England in order to confront Morgan Le Fay, not realizing that she was now an entire reality away.

Patriot and Blazing Skull looked at each other and shrugged.

Patriot was worried about his teammates but he also suspected that wherever he was, also was where Wiccan had ended up.

He talked to the Blazing Skull, who Elijah knew about because of stories his grandfather told him.

Blazing Skull knew of the Patriot because of Jim Hammond's intel.

Crossbones studied the two remaining heroes and was calculating his odds.

If he shot at them, he could possibly kill Patriot but the Blazing Skull would be as hard to kill as Wolverine.

He could possibly handle one or the other in a fight but the two of them together would be tough. Crossbones decided to stay low, unless they separated.

Patriot and Blazing Skull began discussing the situation. Each of them agreed that the missing teammates they were looking for probably had the same thing happen to them so they began to look around for signs of their missing friends.

Crossbones immediately saw that they had noticed the tractor, which he was directly in the path of and steeled himself for a confrontation, but the heroes began walking down the country road instead.

Crossbones resisted the temptation to jump them from behind and slowly crept through the wheat field parallel to them as they walked.

Lionheart flew without really knowing where she was or where she needed to go to get back to England. Her sense of duty had blinded her to reality and she realized with a twinge of regret that she had left those other two heroes stranded. She wasn't sure in which direction lay England so she called upon her Sword of Might to guide her. It pointed her in the direction she needed and she flew in that direction.

Suddenly she realized her path crossed directly over Latveria and she was confronted by both Dr. Doom and Kang the Conqueror.

They were too much for her and she became their prisoner.

Patriot and the Blazing Skull walked along the country road, unaware that they were being stalked by Crossbones. They were getting to know each other and Elijah was finding Blazing Skull's idiosyncrasies to be amusing.

Crossbones kept looking for an opportunity to take one of them out so that he would only have to deal with a single opponent. He was considering shooting Patriot at the base of his skull when a car rolled up and Markovian police hopped out and ordered the Patriot and Blazing Skull to surrender to arrest.

All Crossbones could think was "Markovia? Where the Hell is Markovia?"

Clint Barton was chained to a wall and Tara Markov walked in with two Markovian secret police.

Tara had decided that Hawkeye would be tortured so that he might tell her the truth.

"Are you ready to tell me the truth?"

"I've already done that."

"We'll see."

The Marvel Ares was introduced to the others. Hecate was sullen but accepted her defeat by Ares and was considering returning to her magic in her fights. Bron was a typical thuggish dictator and Ian Nottingham seemed to be a useful warrior, Neither gave Ares any sense of threat.

Rasputin's magic seemed dangerous but Ares didn't feel particularly threatened.

He was more curious about his DC counterpart and he soon realized that the DC Ares was the most formidable of all of them.

Marvel Ares was glad he restrained himself from confronting this very deadly counterpart.

When Wiccan and the Thin Man learned their situation they both insisted on returning to Markovia to be there for any other teammates that might turn up later. Wiccan was especially concerned about Hulkling.

Kevin O'Brien. upon learning that the Vault was active, insisted on returning to the Vault and assuming leadership of the Guardsmen that had been discovered to be there.

Before Nick Fury could protest, Wiccan had teleported himself and the Thin Man back to Markovia.
