Marcus Fenix found the two Jackals attacking George Baird in his Armadillo vehicle and shot them both down from behind as they advanced on George Baird.

He did not know who was in the Armadillo but he recognized it as the vehicle he'd been driven to combat in. He hoped his three colleagues were inside. .

Adam Strange arrived at the police station where the Streetfighters were being held along with the two Locust Drones that were captured.

He assessed the situation and had the three Streetfighters remanded into his custody.

He explained to them that they weren't on Earth and that he was counting on them to behave until he could get them back to Earth. He asked if he could count on their cooperation? They agreed and he led the three of them out.

Day 75: Dawn; A replicated planet Rann, in an alternate reality.

T. Hawk of Street Fighter fame was in Mexico. He was a Native American that had Apache blood in his system. He was taken by a rift in reality.

Fei Long was in Hong Kong wrapping up a new movie, he too was taken by a rift in reality.

In another section of Rann three representatives of the Jiralhanae race appeared and began a course of destruction. Known as Brutes by the UNSC troops, they recognized the Rannians as human and therefore the enemy and began systematic slaughter.

Fei Long emerged from one rift and T. Hawk emerged from another opposite him. Between them were three large simian looking aliens, one armed with a deadly looking plasma rifle while the other two were armed with much more primitive weapons, a deadly looking spear and spiked gloves respectively.

Fei Long was closest to the spear carrying Brute and sought to disarm the creature.

T. Hawk emerged near the Brute armed with a plasma rifle. He grappled with the creature trying to disarm it. T. Hawk was a large man, large enough to look directly in the eye of his opponent but even his strength (which qualified as super strength in any world) was strained in comparison to his alien opponent.

Luckily the third brute with the spiked gloves had rushed on ahead so that neither Street Fighter had to worry about being double teamed.

It was obvious to Adam Strange that Rann had been selected as the next incursion of heroes and villains in this reality. So far all he had were these three who called themselves Street Fighters and the two captured aliens whose race or origins were yet to be identified. The universal translators were not working on the language of the aliens in question.

Adam Strange explained to the Street Fighters as best he could what was happening while his father in law Sardath treated the wounds Dee Jay and E. Honda had sustained when they confronted the aliens.

In addition, the Rannian military was alerted to a possible invasion of a previously unknown alien race.

Rannian police and the military were on high alert.

As in all worlds in this reality, Rann had Skrull spies posing as Rannian citizens and they took a deep interest in the sudden events occurring on Rann. There was a Skrull cruiser class warship hiding behind a moon of the seventh planet in the Rannian solar system and they reported the recent events immediately.

Elsewhere, Rannian diplomats were in simultaneous trade negotiations with Kree representatives and Dominator representatives.

Each had their own spy networks in place though they were more limited than the Skrulls and word was sent back to their homeworlds. They too were keenly interested in developments on Rann.

Damon Baird got on the horn and managed to contact none other than Marcus Fenix .

Fenix immediately moved in and connected with Baird. Bairf finished his repairs on the Armadillo.

Master Chief advanced on M. Bison and Vega. The two Street Fighter villains made the mistake of assuming that this was just another space marine and as easily killed as the one they just murdered.

They moved in for the attack and each of them suffered grievous wounds. They weren't killed however and Rannian police arrived shortly after and ordered Master Chief to stand down.

Master Chief saw that the Rannians appeared human but he erroneously assumed that they were on the same side as the fallen Street Fighter villains. He refused to surrender and retreated instead.

The Rannians saw that their weaponry failed to stop Master Chief so they decided to leave him for Adam Strange to deal with.

The Rannian police brought M. Bison and Vega in for medical attention. Despite the severity of their wounds the advanced Rannian medical techniques helped them recover quickly.

Agam Strange was summoned to look at them and intuited that these two were of the same reality as the three street fighters he had already met.

Ken Masters had been brought with him and Adam asked him to identify them. Ken Masters recognized them both immediately. He told Adam Strange exactly who they were and M. Bison and Vega were put in protective custody.

Adam Strange received the report describing Master Chief and he left immediately to track him down.

In the Rannian Spaceport; sitting in a bar, was the Grey Hulk, alias Mister Fixit. He and the childlike Hulk had been separated from their Bruce Banner Host months ago and existed separately in this reality. Child Hulk was on Earth working together with the Defenders and helping to defend Star City. It was impossible for him to revert to Bruce Banner.

This was the case for Mister Fixit as well. He had managed to get hooked up with a smuggling outfit that operated out of the outlaw planet Rimbor which happened to be the home planet of Ultra Boy.

Mister Fixit felt perfectly at home working for smugglers and right now they were in the midst of a smuggling operation on Rann.

But Mister Fixet was bored and when he heard reports that Rann seemed to be the target of an invasion of some sort, he couldn't resist sticking his nose in.

M. Bison and Vega were locked up and Ken Masters was escorted back to his cohorts, Dee Jay and E. Honda. Each of them were provided universal translators but the Rannians requested that Dee Jay stay near either E. Honda or Ken Masters at all times because his use of slang threw off the translations too badly.

Otherwise, the Street Fighters were free to roam as long as they remained accessible to Rannian authorities and especially Adam Strange.

The Prophet of Regret sat back as he was filled in by the Midnight Rambler about things. He learned that his home planet now existed and a large force of Kig Yar were stationed there to protect it but it was devoid of citizens, who would not begin to appear until the next day.

There was also; as of now, a force of Jiralhanae (brutes) at his disposal here and on his home planet High Charity.

When he learned he had Brutes at his disposal as well as Jackals he could not help but smile.

Captain Comet decided to look in on his friend Adam Strange at just the right time. Adam Blake had a knack for that.

He flew right in and found Adam Strange, who was trying to locate Master Chief, even though he did not know that that was what his quarry was known as.

As Rann woke up, the Covenant stronghold provided for the Prophet of Regret was discovered. Of course Adam Strange was contacted about all this,
