Ironically, I did make an Aqua Tech deck back in the days that I had never seen anywhere, even the net. Check my post history, if you dont believe me. Its kinda sad how you keep bringing up examples Ive already done. Try and give me an example of a non-mainstream deck I haven't made, for once. It makes a more valid example and buttresses your point better than using examples that I really have done and noone has seen before.

Wow. So before those cards were printed, no deck was sucessful? Or Scientist didn't pwn the living daylights out of it until it got crippled? I have seen non-BLS decks work excellently. Last Turn doesnt run Chaos. Neither does Tsuku-Control. My Pop Quiz doesnt use Chaos. Or any monsters, for that matter. BLS can be considered a guarantee for success in a deck, but honestly, BLS isnt the only source of success.

I have never heard a more truthful statement in my life. bls is one card out of 40+ cards in a deck. I play that card and I have to say that about 60% of the time I dont even use it. also when bls is banned that isnt going to stop these deck types you will just see people settling for lesser evils like chaos sorcerer. there will be a new monster to complain about. Probably winged kuriboh lv 10 to tell you the truth. that card is insane. that is the thing though. people just dont like to lose. and instead of blaming their inept talents they blame the cards they think won the opponent the duel. "BLS isnt the only source of success." it takes more than just cards to win a duel. it takes skill and luck combined with deck "synergy" to win consistantly.

I think u could make abetter deck out of Winged Kuriboh lv 10 than bls....because when u run bls..u gotta run light/dark type monsters in ur deck which most light monsters are patheic and weak as hell.....I am not that quite sure wat Winged Kuriboh lv10 does...but I heard it is a great card and it ...that just wat I think

its an overpowered nomi monster that can be special summoned from the deck. its effect says

This card cannot be summoned or set. this card cannot be special summoned except by the effects of evolution wing. tribute this face up monster to destroy all face up monster on your opponents side of the field and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original atk of all of the monsters destroyed by this effect. this effect can only be activated during your opponents battle phase

its CED all over again.

also light monsters are not weak and pathetic. ddwl, blade knight, airknight magician of faith silent swordsmans black luster soldier and in a bit winged kuriboh lv 10 are all light monsters. they are the monsters that usually get complaints. the strongest monster in the game is a light monster.

I guess no one noticed this post made by king archfiend. Remember when IOC first came out and chaos decks started getting real popular real fast. What card did everyone worry about coming out - Chaos emporer dragon. BLS was not even thought about. He was almost like the chaos sorcerer of now. People were just worried about having that much damage done to them and having to top-deck.
So think about it, chaos is still a deck type, it has 2 game breaking cards meant for it only and one extra that doesn't see much use. So go ahead complain about BLS, and even do one better get it banned, but then some other deck is just going to become the new ultimate cookie cutter with a ton of hybrids.

Alright. This post makes you sound like a total moron. You say that you think it is possible to make a better deck around Winged Kuiboh Lv10 than you could around Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. You argue that it is difficult to summon Black Luster Soldier because you have to run Lights and Darks, and that Light monsters are weak. WRONG! Have you ever heard of Magician of Faith? D. D. Warrior Lady? Blade Knight? Reflect Bounder? Silent Swordsman Lv5? Those are some very strong Light monsters, and getting them to graveyard isn't hard at all! this card is a win condition. it allows you to pick a spell card in your graveyard and add it to your hand. that means reuse pot of greed deliquent duo or any other spell card for advantage. it being a low defense means that it will be in the graveyard when you draw bls.

the other two monsters you didnt dispute. I will not dispute that either.

banisher of light. weak yes nice defense but weak.
first who said anything about banisher of light. with that said banishers unique effect allows for game control and two otk combos. one with exodia and one with poison of the old man.

blade knight. no this card is good but only in a warrior deck.

ok I disagree with this. your statement shows a complete lack of understanding how this card (and this game) works. to demonstrate this lets look at its effect.

I am not sure how this first effect in your mind needs a warrior to be used. it doesnt say if their is a warrior in your hand increase this cards atk by 400 so that is a no go on that just a 2000 atk point monster in the common low hand situation.

next
if this card is the only monster on your side of the field negate the effects of flip effect monsters it destroys as a result of battle.

ok now looking at this (and knowing what a warrior deck does) it needs to be the only monster on your side of the field to get this effect (also making it a good topdeck). A warrior decks main stregth is swarm. this means that blade knight will not be on your side of the field alone most of the time in this deck.

now with that knowledge of how this card works how exactly does it only fit into a warrior deck. it has no restrictions saying that it needs other warriors to work.

and of all of the cards mentioned the only card that doesnt belong in a chaos deck is really the banisher of light that no one mentioned.

oh and to touch on what crimsonmage said. their is also silent swordsman lv3 and 5 which easily puts a light in the graveyard.
