Freeptop, that's why I really would like it if WizKids would have enough decency to actually bring out model kits of certain 'Mechtypes which thus far are only available as stupid Uniques/LEs. I would really like it if I could paint and build my own Jupiter and mount it on its base. But no, apparently they want me to play some 3D scifi version of Magic: The Gathering instead of a decent miniature wargame. No wonder the venues are polluted with soulless powergamers. But hey, it fills the coffers, eh?
You're right, Blundersen. However, it seems that the opponent of the "Big Man" does take orders for material gain. Of course he wants something in return... I believe that something was called "immortal soul" or something. Seems you really can cash in that thing for material gain. Maybe Boomgoose should try it.

Wizkids states that 10 winners will get it, and yet also start that only 5 will get it.
Talk about a BIG typo!!
I believe they're saying that 5 will get the LE's, the ultimate
collector's case, and the book. The remining 5 will just (?)
get the list of LE's. I could be wrong but that's how I read it.

Dude, what are you talking about? It IS way cool, and thank you WK, but have you ever heard of 'marketing'?? It's not like they're shelling out the big bucks to hook us up... remember, we pay $100 for Raisho on eBay. They pay a nickel to just make another one. So, factoring in the shipping, this is probably setting them back a couple hundred bucks. A corporation. Pocket change. And think of the buzz it is creating. That buzz alone is worth thousands of dollars to them - much more than the 10 prize packs cost them to produce. Positive economic profit.

All true. However, they still don't have to do it. Buzz or no buzz. ;)
Its just as Bad for some of us in the south(or at least central texas), its EXTREAMLY hard for us to get anything because it all stays up north ..............yankies..............
in other news:
It Would be REALLY sweet if one of the guys in our GROUP would get it....if i got it, i would just make what i didnt need venue prize support....we need it....
Well........its 10 people out of how many Hundreds of Thosands world wide? i just want it!
Taking that there were (at the time of FW) 8,000 (regestered) MW Players that made it to FW, we can surely guess that there will be FEWER than that comming to the Marquee (not too many fewer, but fewer none the less...SO, Lets say 7500..If there ARE 10 packages go'n out each of us have (WOW I CAN DO MATH) a 1/750 chance of winn'n the thing...Not bad...
That's a cool idea, though I'd alter it slightly... Make a pool of all our players and agree that if one of us wins we'd put it all in a pile and take turns picking out a piece at a time, though the real "winner" could go first and pick twice maybe. Perhaps I'm not giving greed enough credit, but it would really draw the players at a venue together.
