I find it funny that people are using 2 letters to shorten a 4 letter word. IS IT THAT HARD TO TYPE "liao"

StormKeeper, you're forgetting that the Capellan Confederation is not a democratic republic, but is instead an autocratic police state based on Imperial China. The Chancellor's word is absolute, and the Chancellor is always a member of House Liao.

QuidProQuo: Well, if you look at the timeline (link somewhere in the forums...), you'll see that they skipped on Liao chancellors a few times. Not too many, but the odd one here and there.

I don't see what the big deal is. Why can't people just write out 'Liao'. It's not that hard. HL stands for highlander and 'Liao' (CC for you lazy people) stands for house Liao. Besides, I don't know many people who care enough about Liao to be writing it repetitively. If WizKids does get rid of a Faction, it should be Liao (most people hate 'em anyway) so that this problem ends once and for all.

I have never seen anyone apart from WK (on or offline) call the Highlanders anything but HL and I've never heard anyone call Liao HL. So who's really "wrong" WK or everyone else?

I think that the Highlanders should get the termination NH which means:

NORTHWIND HIGHLANDERS
