Your army is indeed evil, but I believe my army could stand up to yours pretty well ...
1 SS DI AA - 32 (going solo but having infantry guarding sides)
1 Merc Zahn - 30
1 LI Arrow IV (in Merc Zahn) - 47
1 Rots Zahn - 34
1 SS Arrow IV (in the Rots Zahn) - 51
1 BR Sprint - 34
1 RotS Fa Shih (in sprint) ... or Scorchers - 26
1 DF ATVs - 14
2 SH ATVs - 16
1 Mikos Yoh - 20
1 Mikos Ni - 14
1 Mikos Ichi - 12
1 BR Legionnaire - 119
-------------------------
total = 449
this army is basically the same as yours ... the only differences are:
- My transports can easily shoot down your ATVs
- My infantry can easily capture or kill your ATVs
- The BR Lego will be a big charge threat to you
- You're a smidge outranged by my DI AA
- Mine has 1 command vehicle :P
Here's my plan (assuming you don't know my plan) ... I wait until YOU pog ... then unload and pog with SS Arrow on both side arties ... meanwhile moving up Legionnaire (I'll bring water terrain).
If you load into your transport, a transports after 6 clicks will die (if they infiltrate) and so will your arty. You don't have enough peasants to also shield your transports, so you'll be always exposed to the Lego somewhere.
If you base my Zahn, I can just shoot them. In two turns they'll die. If I need help, I got two infantry (one w/12 inch JJ) that can capture a DF ATV with a 9 roll.
Of course, my evil army is meant to specifically go against Arrow cheese army ... it may not go well against VTOL heavy armies.
I have done it with a faction pure (with mercs) BR force.
2x sprints
2x merc GDL battle armor

and a bunch of bikes. dont have the time to put it together right now.
If I go first, its over for at least 1 of the meatshelds (maybe 2 if they are close enough to eachother), likely on the first turn as I spray them all with anti-p (and save the whole "they are not touching each other" speech, because if they are not touching each other then I have LOS to your artillery, and that makes it much easier. ).
If I get 1 command then Kenneth fires 2 ap pogs on top of that, and If I get 2 then my mech runs out 23 inches including the DZ to become an immediate threat.
If I go second then I place my artillery in basil and put it and my repair vehicle in the corner, then move to the corner, away from 2 of the Arrows and pick them apart with his better range, THEN I kill the meat shield and menace with my mech.
Please dont say then I do this and then you do that, because obviously what I do changes depending on how you set up and I do not want to get into a loop. :) Have a nice day!

He will have his insurance rates go up then. Because if he strikes my car in the rear arc, the insurance company is going to find him at fault and the accident will be CHARGED to his policy!
bah the way i play my normal 450 army, engineer's will be in trouble.
if i go first he is definitely in trouble.
I take : Merc Zhan, Arrow4, SW J37, ROTS DI Towed. and like 10 peasants
i make a wall at 1 corner of the map and just use my DI Towed's superior range to outrange the arrow while my arrow keeps the pressure on. those ATVs are mincemeat if i go first usually i end up capturing a couple of em and killing the rest with mortar squads
and yes i do take a mech. still up for debate which one it is! :D
Engineer...if I make it to Origins I would love to take you up on this challenge. Name your ante price (I am openly expressing my desire so everyone can I am willing). LE? Common...U? Just so I know what to bring.
I am not saying I will win, I actually expect to loose. I simply want to run my RotS pure force against yours to see if...IF...I can win. I also have my own "Cheddar Force" that I could throw up agasint yours just to see "what up?"
Thanks for the oppurtunity...but I must say this...if the funds allow, I will be there. Thanks.
Engineer: And here is what Iwould like to run against yours. I know it is handicapped due to imobile arty but...oh well.
All RotS Pure.
Balac x3
DI TFA x3
Zahn
Irena-LE Locust
Longinus BA
My only problem is your infiltrators. I out-range your Arrows and a pair of my Balacs will ruin the day of any Arrow four in one shot (each of course).
I play a twin SSw Arrow IV army in competitive play, but I also play exclusively swordsworn with no mercs. I think the fact that I play with my factions weaknesses allows me to play with its strengths. My typical army is as follows, all swordsworn units...
3 J-37 Ordnance Transports 78 pts
2 MHI AA Tanks 112 pts
2 Arrow IV Artillery Tanks 102 pts
2 Mobile Headquarters 48 pts
3 Towed Autocannons 57 pts
3 Fenrir Battle Armors 42 pts
1 Special Forces Team 11 pts
Total 450
I use 2 H type blocking terrains and place the transports with Arrow IV's inside along with 1 Fenrir and an SFT or 2 fenrirs as well as the mobile headquarters in formation. I then move each formation together into the H terrain such that the Arrow IV inside is surrounded by the Headquarters and Transport on either side and the infantry covering its rear so it can't be based. This sets up the arty to cover the entire field except the area behind the arty which is covered by the fenrirs. The MHI's and last transport go in a formation with the towed autocannons in the transport. I use that formation to move around as needed to provide support and take out VTOL's. Not a perfect army but I like it.
I also play SSw pure. And yes the SS Arrow IV is what I like to call a "necessary evil" as is all artillery pieces, transports, and anti-air.
Next time I play I plan on fielding a semi fast moving / artillery force consisting of:
Jaqueline Tadaka
Scott Tracyk
5x Hoverbikes
4x Fenrir
1x Arrow IV Artillery Tank
1x Special Forces Team
And might I just say the Fenrir make an excellent defender for Arrow IV Tank. 4 can safeguard them if the arty is against the back border while 5 completely protect it on the field.
