Is it me, or does that one kind o flook like a Knight of the Sphere?

Those three mech with the wings are the falcon's 3 unique mechs, the gyrfalcon(dual cannons), the shirke(cannon and arm), and the eyrie (dual missile racks).

Oh, and for all of you thinking you are getting LEs from booster packs, let me enlighten you as to what (as far as I can surmise) they mean.

Basically, they are going to make Grey Bases on the first X nunber of figures, that way the first printed ones have 'more value' than the later ones. they do this in several card games, it increases the 'collectability of the game.

(Once more, this is all that I can figure they would mean, I don't have an 'inside source' or whatever, and if you think I'm wrong, jsut wait and see. ~_^ [I very well could be! =P])

I figured they meant that the LE's (such as prizes and mail aways) will have a grey base instead of a black one so you will be able to tell the differance between uniques and LEs. Also then they could have an event where no grey bases are allowed.

OK the only mech without wings in the pic is for sure the Shadow Hawk IIC.

I'm figuring that they'll do something like they're doing with Sportsclix where the grey base LEs are simply the uniques already in the set, but with a different paint scheme or battle damage. Pack them maybe one per case. This has no impact on the actual playabilty of the units, (players don't suffer for not having hoardes of cash to throw at trying to get an uber piece) but gives true collectors something to hunt down.

The sculpts look pretty good I guess. They should've varied the wing design a bit because it makes all of them look too similar (like variants of each other, not new designs). I still like the gyrfalcon the best.

In terms of gray based LEs, whatever they are, I just hope they end up increasing the odds of pulling uniques with dossiers to maybe 1 in every 4 boosters. That will intice me to buy more.

as a real lover of all things true to the clans i am pissed! why do the falcon mechs have wings? mechs have no need for them, they are not transformers. LAMs died out years ago!!!! but i do like the elementals.

Yep the grey bases sounds like the sportsclix thing. Basically they put some of the uniques in packs with grey instead of black bases. Still the same fig, but more rare making it a hot chase fig. As for the elementals, I hope there is some rule by where they can be ON the Mechs and take the damage first. That would SO ROCK!!!
And wow a chance to win a drop ship instantly in some packs is nice too!
