Gee Shraka, why is it that you have the time to work out this wonderful point-cost formula and set up this nifty little thread, but you can't be bothered to send me the figures I paid you for more than three months ago?

I would ask you to email or PM me to sort this out, but it's not like that's ever worked before. Heck, I'll ask you again to contact me--I'm already out $40 and a Mounted General, it's not like things can get worse.

I'm thinking of playtesting a few of the figs I made....Preferably Borj Backstabber (The last click frenzy is sooo cool lol) and Abomidable Snowbeast. The Snowbeast is a powerhouse and will probally cost around 18-20 points less do to the Frenzy throughout all 9 clicks. And he would get sum points taken off through playtesting definitly, because he is not poweful enough to cost 130 sum points.

Dagonet: My appologies, I emailed you actually prior to seeing this post if you can believe that. This program has actually been done for some time, my fellow DGC members suggested I post it here to share.

I just downloaded it, and I received the same error as Psionystic. I'm on Windows 2000, AMD 2600+. My windows is up to date, but it still gives me the error.

I tried just using the program, but none of the buttons ("Calculate/Save", "Claer", "Load") work at all for me. Also, the layout looks a little confusing, without any labels for certain menus.

No labels? It sounds like some of your files are corrupted. I've never had a problem running an app like this on a 2K machine. You've tried downloading just the EXE zip file and that doesn't work either? When you say the buttons don't do anything, do you mean you don't even get an error message?

Even still with 2.0 coming in Nov I will have to put in a lot of effort to get the program up to date. It probably won't be for two or three releases of 2.0 units that I can get it done.

The Setup still says my files are out of date, and the program run by itself gives this error:

Component 'comctl32.ocx' or one of its dependancies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid.

are you logged in as an administrator?
Sounds like, for some reason, it won't let the installer update your files. Like you or the program doesn't have the rights to access the information.

You could try downloading the file (just do a search for it) and put it in the windows\system32 directory, however I'm sure it will continue to ask for more files.
