All the art I've seen depicting the Hourmen has a clock in it that has the minute hand pointing to 58 and the hour ranging between 10 and 2. I haven't got them all to put together yet, but they seem to be telling a story.
Originally posted by Xodus Did anyone else notice that this card's art is a tribute to Dana and Christopher Reeves. They are depicted as Superman and Lois Lane.
Its cool to see someone like them remembered, thanks UDE!!!
The judge pointed out that to us at the sneak peak
this ain't really an egg but on the art from r.harper on the back of a characters jackwets his name is there like a design in the clothing or something and the guy next to me at one of my preview matches swore up and down it stood for f@#^ "roy" harper
How about the new Mr. Mxyzptlk:
"Nice try, Aquaman, but you're made of sand!"
in reference to Sandman from MSM:
“Nice try Spider-Man, but I’m made of sand!”
I don't know if this qualifies as an easter egg, but the art on all of the Alexander Luthors depict the wrong Luthor. The one drop and three drop are both from the Lex Luthor miniseries -- before I.C. got underway, and the six drop is definitely Lex himself, taken out of the pages of one of the Superman books where a confused Lex Luthor is hunting down his imposter.
As far as Dr. Light goes, I understand his flavor text to say something different.
His "Vengeance" ability is the same as the DGL 3-drop, nearly, so it's saying that though the ability makes sense he is always overpowered. DGL 3-drop is borken after all.
