This seems to contradict what PL posted right before yours. Am I reading this correctly?

Actually, northstar is correct. During the time that the Batman Ally is under the influence of the Mind Control, he is no a member of his original force. As such, the Wildcards do not have access to the Batman Ally TA.
I was more referring to when the Batman Ally retuns to the control of his original force. At that time, the Batman Ally's TA is still switched off, but the other members of that force still have access to the TA.
And the best use of the Mind Control v. Optional Powers contest:
Your opponent declares a mind control attempt against your figure (let us take Batman as an example).
You turn off any optional powers the character has that could be used against you (such as Outwit or Incapacitate) - this can be done at any time per the current rules.
Smile happily because your opponent is spending an action to take control of a thug with decent stats.
I have personally used this to prevent Con Artists from taking an unhappy Pulse Wave, removing Charge from a Brick who was two squares away from my Outwitter, and generally frustrate Mind Control armies everywhere.
FAQ, Mind Control
When a character is affected by Mind Control its powers, even those powers cancelled by the opposing player, may be used as normal. Powers previously cancelled through Outwit remain cancelled. Powers that may only be used once per turn still follow that rule.
Sorry, Rubix1, but your plan doesn't work. Your opponent can still access those powers you cancelled before the MC.
Hi,
I couldn't remember today is it legal to turn of optional powers after moving?
The situation was this:
Destiny (Brotherhood free move) was MC'd and she was moved and after the move her super senses was turned of. Is this correct by the rules?
I had readed from this site about this move few months ago and it was legal then (not this thread). Is it still?
Maybe I ruled it wrong, but it was something that was ruled to me like that before, so I thought it was right.
Can someone give me that kind of answer, that it would be easy to remember, when you can turn of optional powers when figure is under MC?
Originally posted by Psylockeslover As soon as Destiny's action is over, control reverts to it's player. The proper sequence would be to turn the power off, then move the figure.
Thanks Psylockeslover! Well, I was then correct in that part it is posible to turn off optional power and move. Player said strongly it is inposible to do 'two actions' under MC. He said if you turn or any optional power then you have used you MC's free action.
Do you need any kind of action to turn of optional power when you are using oposing figure who is under your mind control?
I'm not aware of optional powers costing any kind of action. You just declare that you are turning them off.
You can turn off as many optional powers as you like.
