Can those weighing in on the argument later in the thread, please take the time to go back and read the first post, since it deals with salient points that many posts today seem to have missed.

Salient points:
- Someone was sending PMs from his PM box that had distinct inconsistencies with discussions I was having with him outside of VSRealms.
- Both addresses are valid - there are people who are having trade problems with Maul who have sent to both.

In response to KardKrazy, if I was to hack your account, arrange trades and then delete the PMs before you saw them, you wouldn't know anything about it until you started receiving unknown trade packages, or people started posting bad trade threads about you for not sending stuff that you never knew you were supposed to send. Unless the USPS have improved their schedules somewhat, I would think that that would allow for a couple of weeks at least, in which I would be running rampant through your inbox.

Yes, the hacking thing is just a theory - I don't have the ability to check the IP addresses involved, et al - but based on the PMs I received, I think it at least bears consideration.

And for the record, yes, at least one person who took the time to respond to Darth Maul's request for people to contact him so he could honour trades, has received the cards he was promised.

Finally, leaving negative feedback IS the correct response to a bad trade, and people SHOULD be checking their trader's refs. If you're concerned about a trader's viability, just have them send first or use escrow. They can't rip you if you don't send until you've received their cards.

yea i agree on the theory that his account got hacked. i had a trade with him and it took 3 weeks. the address he gave me was

now i ended up getting my cards from him a little late. he sent right after he posted on the other bad traders thread saying this

"anyone im currently involved in a trade with pm me with the info and i will send asap"

i got my cards shortly after. i will defend the guy he isnt a ripper but i do believe his account was hacked.

for the simple reason that there are 2 different address' and 2 different names people are talking about.

i believe i agreed to a trade with BM but ended up recieving the cards from RG. because the package he sent had a return address from RG , i think RG knew that i would be getting ripped and ended up sending me the cards that were owed to me by BM.

cuz i got some cards in the deal i never wanted. and some of the cards i was to be getting were suppose to be foil , though i could care less about that.

hopefully this will get resolved soon cuz i believe he isnt a ripper. he kept communication with me and never ignored my pm's.

Look, guys, we're ALL ON THE SAME TEAM here. We all want the exact same thing. This is turning into a war where no one wins. The only way it'll be won, is if everyone gets their stuff.

Ryu: Look, I can understand where you're coming from. You're pissed, and we all understand why. However, is all you lost in the exchange $50? If from what I understand that is true, then I would just PM him asking for it back. Worth a shot, you've got nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, you've still got your collection, just out $50. It's rough, and we can understand where you're coming from,. but you've gotta look at it from our(most of the people reading your posts) point of view. Everyone who reads your posts thinks you're just seeing this through tunnel vision and just concerned over your situation. Now, I'm not saying that's true, I don't know you in real life or even here on the Realms, I understand what you're trying to do. Warn everyone to just stay away, and that's it, which is cool, that's your opinion. Just, all of us are still trying to hold out hope that maybe we CAN get our stuff back, I just hope you keep that in mind. Thanks.

I want to point out that I get an email EVERYTIME someones PM's me. So if someone hacked my account here and was sending out PM's they would be getting responded to which I would know about and that would send up a red flag immediatly;). I also want to point out another item. I contacted him in regards to getting the cards he owed me after he made that request. I still haven't recieved.

well actualy I still have not received my package back. I spoke to my postmaster and he said he can get it back for me but I still have not received it and apprently it is now lost. So I lost everything in this deal.

If anyone thinks "I'm seeing through tunnel vision and I am only concerned about myself" than they need to learn how to read. I have stated multiple times that my primary concern is making sure he does not rip anyone else. I only want people to see him for what he is so that he stops trading and cannot rip anyone else off.

But if you all want to blindly believe that you're going to get your stuff, then hakuna matata. But it does not take a brain surgoen to see how darth is scamming everyone with all his BS stories. I will end by saying this:

I just want to take this opportunity to personally thank KardKrazy. The man knows what hes talking about. I just wish the mods on here were like karkKrazy on tcgplayer.

In regards to the bogus offer withtthe mobilizes. I may have received one, a few weeks ago i recieved the most outrageous offer, it was basically my entire foil collection and about 5 rares and 2 EA's (estimation) for something to the effect of:

4x foil beatdowns
4x EoME
1x Mobilize
And practically ALL of my H/W list...

I never wanted to attack. It´s ok if anyone has another opinion it´s ok. But you should let Ryu CL and me saying this. Because nothing happened. I wasn´t ripped at all. But I understand Ryu´s anger here. And this honoursystem fails this time. Once again I don´t believe he got hacked. If so there are some ways to go around it. Making another account and PM the people who get ripped of then and so on. If he cannot proof that he didn´t ripped anyone he is a ripper. so is the law. He needs to bring the proof that he is unguilty.

If you think about it .... maybe who ever hacked into his account changed he password so he the real maul couldnt get back on... and as for why he hasnt tried to clear his name... any fool can come on here and claim to be him... but there isnt a forsure way to tell if it indeed him or not. My friend has made a rather pricey trade with him.. that included his[my friends] ea sttg and ea terra..and mauls 4 x mobilize..and he got them.. mint condition..no problems what so ever.. he had no problem getting ahold of mual during before and after the trade..so im lead to believe that someone did hack his account and change his password so he cant clear his name.. and if he just isnt responding to anything... mauls guna be in a world of pain.

How would it be possible for him to do that ?anyone can say email you benni and say hey im maul..and someone hacked my old account... let everyone know what happened.. there isnt any forsure way to tell if it would be the real maul or not... SO ... if maul wants to clear his name he better speak up soon... otherwise he'll be up sh*ts creek..and he aint guna have a paddle .....
