Will you be selling these to the winning bidders even if the bid is clearly less than what the figure is worth? For example, $1 for an Arcane Drac? I thought the point of this was for people help your friend out, not for them to rip him off...

First off, I didn't put the bid on the arcane.

He could probably really put the bidding through the roof if he sold all the draconum figures as a giant lot on ebay. To be honest, if he wants top dollar for everything, it all should go on ebay. I bid what things were worth to me, and what I could afford. I guarantee there is someone out there with deeper pockets than me. And I will be sad if that's what happens but I wouldn't blame him.

So if you think any of the bids I did make are rip offs feel free to notify him that you will be buying them for what they "should" go for or ebaying them for him at those prices.

Yeah I know I'm acting like a jerk here because I think the tone of your post kinda sucks with The aasumption that people are trying to "rip" others off.

Yeah, I tried to at least offer what I thought the figures would go for on ebay. A lot of the LE stuff would go for a lot more on there.

HOWEVER, it's worth pointing out that that's reduced by ebay listing fees.

For the volume here, though, eBay do add up to a lot, and listing each individual figure is a huge hassle. Also keep in mind you have to pay for each listing after 50, and there are more than 50 items here. Not counting any listing fees, if SKByTor gets $750 on these figs, he's paying ~$75 to eBay and another $20-$30 to PayPal. Then we can talk about how much work it is to ship if he has 50 buyers instead of 17.

I bid what I was willing to pay for each item, not what I feel they'll go for on eBay, because everything I bid on I plan to keep and hopefully use. I'm just sad that Maneater went for more than I could spend on it, since I primarily get to play Dungeons so Mage Spawn are even more useful to me.

I just hope no one sniped me on Lord Andreus. I've come close to making some very stupid decisions on eBay just to get that figure.

It should totally be up to him to deny any offers which are obviously lower than the norm. I have to admit I made a some at a lower price point, but I would totally understand if it's denied and goes up on eBay instead. I agree with figures like Sovalis, Mondravolis, Solonavi, some heroes, etc could go for way more.

I didn't do the Arcane Drac bid, but I did put in some small bids for a few figs. I'm certainly not trying to rip anyone off... I just would not be bidding at all if the cost was higher as those particular figs are just not worth much to me (note that I did put in very reasonable bids for a few other items). I also completely understand if SKByTor wants to cancel some of the bids if he deems them to be unreasonable low. This isn't Ebay and therefore is not contractual. I'll take them if the price I bid is ok. If it's not, then that's ok too. No hard feelings.

For what it's worth, I think there's a lot of fair and reasonable bids. There's just a few obvious offenders.

Also, I think he was going to list on ebay in lots, which would keep the number of listings down (but he'd still probably go over 50 listings if he was trying to break it down in such a way as to maximize value).

I currently have the high maneater bid, assuming I wasn't sniped. That was where the majority of my spending cash went. I have no idea what it is worth as there are no recent ebay auctions. But it was as much as I could afford and I have been looking for him for a long time. I'm just glad there was no Chela or my wife might be divorcing me right now.

I put in a few lowball bids on figures that had no bids on them just in case. Most were not good tournament figures so they are not high on my list. General Volkare is one. The ultimate capture monkey but just too slow. And two expensive to be pure support. He was so close to greatness without achieving it. I won't be sad if those bids are not honored but will be very happy if they are.

The best thing to do is if any bids are flat-out too low, he could cancel the bid, but with an option for the bidder to have a first, private crack at another offer.

After all, ByTor's said that he's going to offer up the figures that didn't sell for a "round two" of deals, along with new figures. So that would fit.
