The 15 December Event is pushed back a week due to illness! Get well all!
22 December 2012 (Saturday) 1:30pm.
1000 points, 'golden age'
This is our annual high-point game. This is a pretty relaxed environment with no prizes on the line, just an opportunity to build massively themey teams.
As a warning, if turnout is significant: in order to speed turns up, I may institute the 'free actions cost one of your actions' rule...or we may only run one round, etc.
The two most regular players are feeling ill, so we have delayed this event 1 week. No event 15 December 2012.
No Man's Land, Month 2
300 points, sealed. Your choice of:
- 2 Batman boosters
- 1 Batman booster and 4 Streets of Gotham 1-figure boosters
- 8 Streets of Gotham 1-figure boosters
400 points, "Silver Age" (Modern Age rules apply, except all sets are legal and Bystanders are not allowed).
Special rules: Your team must be made of pairs of figures, each representing the same character, one from the pre-carded era (Origin/BPRD and earlier) and one from the carded era (LoSH/Avengers and later).
Example: I could play a Supernova Thor and a Chaos War Thor as part of my team.
Characters with the same name or characters who represent the same person will count as the "same character." Other "same character" cases can be appealed to the judge.
Each figure on the team must be part of one and only one pair. So I couldn't play two Supernova Thors with only one Chaos War Thor. Nor could I play a Supernova Thor without any other Thor.
Duo figures can be considered two different figures for purposes of pairing them up with pre-carded figures.
