I disagree that the nightmares are necessarilly a recruitment. It smacks more of the Innsmouth Curse coming into effect on someone.

@MSU - Tons of things, rangings from shoggoths to the Dark Young of Shib-Niggurath to the creations of Herbert West to the Tchoi-Tchoi tribesmen to...well, you get the point. Horrible death is not exactly strange to either of the running themes of this game. Heck, as suggested, it could even be a Lovecraftian-twisted Killer Croc...whom, come to think of it, might be a fun twist on the Innsmouth Curse.

Are we sure that there was no interaction between gfish and someone else last night? I'm really on the fence about this whole situation, but this sounds like gfish to me.

Unless this had something to do with recruitment, but there was no cloaked figure in the first write up when we found out about a recruitment because we found that the cloaked figure was gfish.

If last night the hooded figure and the large figure was gfish, then it sounds like the recruitment last night failed. It sounds like there is a roll blocker, but somebody isn't speaking up or hasn't posted yet today.
