Darn near everyone in Arkham Asylum has committed murder at one point or another, wouldn't you agree?
-------
I disagree that the nightmares are necessarilly a recruitment. It smacks more of the Innsmouth Curse coming into effect on someone.
-----------
@MSU - Tons of things, rangings from shoggoths to the Dark Young of Shib-Niggurath to the creations of Herbert West to the Tchoi-Tchoi tribesmen to...well, you get the point. Horrible death is not exactly strange to either of the running themes of this game. Heck, as suggested, it could even be a Lovecraftian-twisted Killer Croc...whom, come to think of it, might be a fun twist on the Innsmouth Curse.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

Are we sure that there was no interaction between gfish and someone else last night? I'm really on the fence about this whole situation, but this sounds like gfish to me.
Unless this had something to do with recruitment, but there was no cloaked figure in the first write up when we found out about a recruitment because we found that the cloaked figure was gfish.

Yeah, I'm guessing that our "monster" is Killer Croc.
And now that Riddler is dead, do we have any other type of investigators? It would really help if someone came forward to give us some info.

Right - but that is gfish saying that he did his own schtick.
The night before we had the person with the dream - hold a sec while I quote the night one write up.
