The dial list to me is an invaluable resource, as I can see all the dials in one place at the same time for comparison. I can't do that with the units section, which also tends to freeze up when new sets are released. I always see a lot of traffic in that thread as well, which makes me think others value it too.

That's a good reason. I guess with not having any issues with the units section across multiple platforms and the units mods adding dials much faster than ever before, I just feel like the dial list has outlived it's purpose except for those interested in information immediately upon its dissemination. And that's not a criticism: every set has it's rabid fan base. Superman was mine. I had the thread set to instant notifications, rather than refreshing heroclix.com, Facebook, and here.

Although Steelmage was sadly correct about one thing in his response to Robed...Spelling and grammar errors while requesting others hold themselves to a higher standard isn't irony any longer...it's exactly what one should expect in the age if the Internet.
