I'm on the lookout for the Month 2 FI event. I don't think that I'll be able to get my hands on any FI pieces otherwise. (I did finally break down and pick up the Blitzkrieg USA Battle Pack. The pogs alone are worth it.)

I know, personally, until prices drop on the secondary market I won't be getting any of the figures until month 6 or so. Those singles are just crazy too high now.

Same here. I don't even want to look at all the sculpts too closely for fear of liking them and wanting them.

I don't know how much you paid for that set, but I saw the dice from it selling for $15 alone so you might be able to break even if you sell pieces of the set off.

It does blow my mind that they aren't having ANY FI events at GenCon.

I missed our month 1 FI event since it was when I was abroad, but one of the other players there mentioned pulling Nul and Hawkeye, then selling them for $100. That more than made up for the entrance fee.

well if it isnt my right foot bothering me my left foot bothers me. Missing out a day's pay by not working. Now my weekend is shot and its convenient a place i go to hangout is having a heroclix tomorrow silver age event and i can't even freakin go.

speaking of MIA was wondering if anyone has heard from Rokk or Truffles? they haven't checked in here for months.

Kinda agree, but not really. I can just see the major nerd outrage if the privileged few that are able to attend GenCon were to get a crack at buying FI boosters from WK, given the scandals popping up about allocations, shortages, and the like. It could be a very ugly scene. On the other hand, it does blow my mind that WK have released such a small amount of product from a set that would sell like gangbusters without the gimmicks and the hype. The FI sculpts and dials that I have seen to date are pretty darned awesome.

I paid $16 for the Blitzkrieg USA pack. My local gaming store had a bunch of them on the shelf. I like all of the contents, including the dice, so I think that I will keep them this time around. The dice are pretty cool looking, as a matter of fact.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Maybe I'll reach out and see if they're ok.

I talked to Truffle over the weekend. She seems to be doing well. I'm not sure what is keeping Rokk or zyxba away. I PMed Rokk about a month ago, but he never responded.

Eh, I think running a FI event or set of events isn't going to be ZOMG Outrage. But that's me. Personally, I think they should have just done this like the Avengers/JLA events and not done it as a "event only" thing.

It's frustrating when you're the judge... though, I did actually edit our event listing to state that if we're allocated, the first /19/ get a FI booster.

Yeah, I was surprised to not see FI at Origins either.

Instead there was the Super Booster tournament, which I can't imagine took more than an hour.
