That should explain why Mal can hit all of those high notes when he sings U2 for karaoke! Fascinating!!!!
I do not! Besides, that was before the alignment reversal.

I don't think I was youtube'd during the act of karaoke, but chasing the Green Dragon at Tazia's meant I really cut loose. Since Rokk bought the first round, he's really the one to blame.

The only one of these that I've played is BSG, but I loved it, and it felt very mafiaesque to me, which is an absolutely perfect fit to the source material.
Yeah, BSG is a great game though you need the full six players to really make it sing. Also, much better to be a Cylon. So much easier to screw everything up, especially when the two Cylons happen to be Starbuck and Dualla.

Haven't played Saboteur in forever. Can be kind of a clunky game, but still fun.

I've only got to play with 4 players so far, but I look forward to trying it with more.

If there ever was a chance to get video evidence, that was exactly it. There may be a photo here or there, but we missed out on recording that performance for posterity. Same thing with Thawmus' rendition of "Rock You Like a Hurricane". Here I was thinking just over the weekend that 2010 was really THE year of the mafia reunion. Oh well...

Thawmus' performance was amazing. As was Thrumble's opener... especially when he realized how long the song was.

Ah, good times all... I mean, we had a pretty good time in Philly this year, but nothing has yet beat the Mafia Gathering of 2010 both in size and awesome epicness. Tales of its grandeur are still being told, all these years later! Wish you all could have been there, vets and newbs alike.

No no, trust me. Play the game, and form your own opinion. I heavily recommend the Leviathon add-on when you do, as well as the extended ending DLC.
There is a lot of hate regarding the ME3 ending, and you might find yourself in their number, and you might not. There are plenty of us who found it to be exactly what we were looking for.

I have just read the rulebook once. Got a guy in our group who just moved here, and he's played it, and he's said that the game sucks until everyone has a grasp of it.

It's not what I would call a good game, but it's one that you can get non-gamers to play, without beating your head against the table out of boredom.

My group greatly enjoyed it, with it being the first play for all 4 of us. It really only took a couple turns to have a pretty good idea of what we were doing.

I have always wanted to play the BSG board game. To begin with, it's one of my favorite TV shows.
However, if I were to buy it, I'd be worried that it would follow suit with the rest of my board games and lie collecting dust in some closet. Seriously, not having a regular board gaming group is sad.
