Next Sunday, Jan 3rd is Week 7 of the Prize List. (See the first page of the thread for the full list). Son of Surtur is Week 9, so it'll be Jan 17th. Jeff is just skipping Week 6 due to the holidays. The Feats will be used later in some manner.

For this coming Sunday, format is still TBD. Mainly because it's going to just be Eric & myself. When we figure it out, I'll post it.

I'll have to see what I even have is good for constructed. I think I have Supernova Thanos floating around in a box somewhere and a few feats that got reprinted.

Right now I'm trying to see if I can pick up some choice pieces like Impossible Man, the Gold Mjollnir, and Frog Of Thunder.

Ah, so true. Back when I was a kid, there were only 8 bowl games and the Championship. They used to mean something.

But, if it weren't for the Insight Bowl, KU wouldn't have gotten into one last year.

All the new Bowl games are the 'No Child Left Behind' of College Football.

Jan 13th LSOM Tourney: Keyword team-up

500pts. (unrestricted) Team-up Madness!!!!
Take two separate non-generic keywords and combine them to form 1 500pt. team. That would be like JLA and X-men as a single team. Think of it like a 300pt. JLA team and a 200pt. X men team combined.

Example:

All of the rules for a normal 500pt. team would apply. We would just be breaking the MUST SHARE 1 COMMON KEYWORD rule. WE wouldn't be adding any keywords to either side. Obviously Chucks Cerebro power could only be set for Monster, Asgardian, Mutant or X-men and it would affect only that chosen keyword not the whole team.

*The Keywords you use have to be Unique. Has more of a Marvel Team-up type of feel.
*Minimum 200pts for each Keyword.
*Powers that state "share a common Keyword" don't cross over.
* All other LSOM team building rules apply (Highlander, no more than 2 mods per team, no more than 50pts worth of feats).

EDIT: Oh and no new keywords can be created for this. Even ones that deserve one like the Cabal (since most of their keywords are generic) or the Hood's Army.

SO I went for my twice a year away game for clix and:

went 2 And 1, lost the first one because of bad rolls and forgetting Cap and Starter Thing share a keyword.

I knocked sue off her 19 but it was too late as I already forgot about inside info (shows how out of practice I am). I had t-bolted to ult-xmen. I missed several early rolls (includeing a charge by namor onto thing with metorie). Despite that, namor was beating down thing but ran out of time before I could finish him and Sue and I had lost spidey alreay.


Second round:

After hitting PM&IF with cap I Hit him with Namor and rolled a 6 for meteor.... 8 click KO. T-botled cap to ultimates, which actually helps since it lets him go thorugh the water (hope that was ruled right).

Used seperation field generator to mess with him and Cap of course got first hit on Elektra. He then based cap with most of hist team, so Spidey and Namor then charged/lunged in. Cap did get knocked to WP CCE but still didn't loose anyone.

1 had him with Doc strange and 2 hand ninjas, the other had him with Danger and Moonstone.

Another paired him with an entangled lungeing Venom (HoT)

that my son FINALLY remembered to bring me the Lamp Post Batman he pulled earlier this year. I used him in a game this afternoon and ironically, the game came down to Bats versus Darkseid and Bats took him down!

My son did not go away empty handed. I gave him a Thor Chariot, which he really likes. He doesn't play, but he enjoys collecting certain pieces. I need to get him a Smokey Cap. BTW, I still have a couple of Chariots if anyone is interested.

Anyone have special plans for New Years?

For those who are interested in coming to Oasis, will be sticking to the scehdule and going with 300pt Constructed. There are a couple of bigger point games coming up, so this will prevent us from getting burned out.

For the Runaways Feat. Plenty of SRs in their boosters. Come see how stoned Eric is. And will Roland be in a good mood or bad mood after the final game of the season against the Falcons???
