Yeah, no DC... no CL dollars.

So I just went into the break room and there is a nice spread of water, soda, pretzels, apples and pears. In another lifetime I would have thought, "Oh, that's really nice!" But I've been here for 10 years and I know what that spread is really saying is, "Look, it's not gonna get any better for you. Just accept it, shut up and be happy when we give you a damn pretzel."

That was my first thought. I'm a Marvel guy by nature but I do like me some DC characters *cough* Batman! *cough*. I wonder if they just haven't wrangled DC into a contract yet or if we won't see DC at all...

I could have sworn I'd seen some pics for DC HCO on the Realms somewhere.

Regardless, I may have to start playing more HCO since it's apparently the only avenue I have where I can play without being interrupted a minimum of five times by folks asking questions that are already in the rulebook or PAC.

I still get asked stuff like, "Is my team themed if only a few characters share the same keyword?" This is from folks who have been playing longer than I have.

Seriously wish the players at my venue would learn to be more self-sufficient.

They should hand out pretzels at your venue!

Been there. Why would they bother to look stuff up when somebody will just answer their questions for them?
Next time you play, tell them they're going to have to take a quiz before the game and anyone who doesn't pass has to go look up and re-write their answers before they are allowed to participate.

My solution to this very issue at my Venue years ago was to state that I would only involve myself in actual rules disputes, i.e. that both players had to disagree on something before I would get involved (and I'd only get involved if asked to).

I refused to make rulings on anything else. Flat out refused. End result? More self-sufficient players.
