Even if the old conspiracy theory of Hitler making it out of Germany were true, it's safe to assume he's long dead by now. He'd be 120 years old otherwise.
Then you find out he is your real father.
Actually, if you read the news recently, the russians ahve been in possession of what they thought was a part of Hitler's skull for all of these years, but a recent DNA test done on it showed it wasn't his, plus another study conducted at the same time showed it wasn't even a male skull. So, there's always that chance he survived for awhile after.
Wow, really? I thought JTR nailed it, so I was just chiming in with my just-read-that-issue datum.
JTR, you have a question ready? I'm blanking right now. I'll post something if you don't in a little while.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

But my point is, even if he did, he's gotta be dead by now.
Hmm... World News Weekly once said he was helping the Argentinian gov't in their war over the Faulklands. Then that Aliens were preserving him. And that he and Bigfoot had a child together. Or was that Stalin and Bigfoot?
Currently, I believe, he's in Iran as the current Ayatollah.
By that I mean the recent retcon that has "Bucky" stating that he killed Hitler. Odd, that. I could've sworn it was the (Original) Human Torch.
There was a time when I would have hoped you were kidding, but now? You could say that Quesada's Marvel states that Norman Osborn caused 9/11 and I'd just shrug.

Faux-Cap mentioned it in passing. Clint Barton recently stated he's going to kill Osborn and wished he could travel back in time so he could be rid of him earlier on. Then someone mentioned it's like the question about if you could travel back in time and kill Hitler in the crib, would you do it. That's when Faux Cap stated he did kill Hitler. I was a bit taken aback by that, myself.
Well, in the recent retcon of your life, you do. Also, your last name is "Arden". And recently, your best friend was Busted because he likes to go around and pull his raincoat open, exposing himself to unsuspecting women on the street all while being Crabby. Gotta wonder if he'll buck the trend and see he has a problem, if you can roger that.
Well, I could make a rant of how Clint wanting to kill anyone is extremely out of character, and cite half a dozen references to prove that; but who cares anymore? Quesada's been wiping his butt with Marvel's established history for a decade now. No one's forcing me to buy or read the sludge that comes out of his waste pipes, so why do I care?

Because you love those characters (as they were) ???

Indeed I do. And my bookshelf is full of Masterworks of those stories that Quesada can never take away from me.
I remember a quote by a writer whose book was turned into a Hollywood movie that paid little or no attention to the book itself. I can't remember who it was, but when someone remarked on what Hollywood had done to his book, he was quoted as saying, "They haven't done anything to my book. My book is right over there on the shelf." That's the attitude I take to Quesada's Marvel, and Didio's DC. I will always have the material that made me a lifelong fan of the comics in the first place, no matter what they try to come out with later.
Name two members of the Legion of Super-Heroes shown in the Geoff Johns - Gary Frank run of Action Comics, who were not previously admitted to the club. That is, name two Legionnaires who had never been Legionnaires in prior existing continuity.
