My library includes a copy of Dark Carnival that Bradbury autographed multiple times as a "running story" of meetings. It may be one of my most prized possessions. I actually got something I wrote about his passing into his memorial service. Saying Bradbury is someone I idolize might be a bit on the understatement.
Heck, poor IR had to deal with me submitting my actions as pastiches.
Alright, now I do feel a little bad...

You know, I think last time I played in an IR game I was critical of the 2 3-person mafia in the game making it necessary for the town to have a flawless game.
Now, a single 3-person mafia means that the mafia has to run a near flawless game, and we were under fire from the outset. Ironic considering that we didn't have a chance to do about anything. Frankly, I just felt like the odds were stacked that much against us to the start that I didn't even bother to participate in that final day.
I mean, all the one-shot options were cute, but that means we're just dedicating ourselves to a hit and nothing else. Maybe if there was a 4th member, it might have worked out a little better.
But could I just have the game be unbalanced in my favor for once?
And with 15 people... well, 4 would be a better ratio if there's no cult/2nd mafia/SK mason or the like.

Yeah I didn't think you guys were overly powerful enough for a 3 man mafia. I know a few of us had low vote threshold mechanics and such, but I still think it was a little skewed against the mafia.

If there was no vigilante, I think that would have been better. Or maybe if we could have done the one-shot flavoring of kills without it using another action.
Honestly, for a while I was thinking that there should be another scummer out there in the form of a SK partnering or something, just from the fact that we were that low-powered, relatively speaking.

Too bad you were so convinced that one of the scummers wasn't on it
I never pushed that hard for you. In fact, I told people to give you a chance to talk. Still wanted a claim though since you tend to hold your cards so close to the vest.
Also, next time I am cult, I am totally recruiting you...

Sorry, man. You used up your quota with Mafia Don Xykon.
Hey, still waiting for Secret Wars. So shush!
Actually, I had the original overpowered mafia back in the day with JKL's Battletech game. Combination of crazy power in a 3-person mafia and sheer luck.
Also, I sent in the mafia instructions all in haiku, as befits the Gunji-no-Kanrei.

I got a kick out of that quite honestly.
I tried to balance it mal, I really did. I hemmed and hawed on a 4th mafia member, but knowing my luck, the cop gets lynched and a couple different moves happen and the mafia gets the curbstomp. 15 is a tricky number to work with in terms of player count.
I don't have the notes for that, but I still have the notes & PMs from Trick r' Treat & The Prisoner. Although I think I was given the role of the mountain range in the sign-up thread
Of course, I also have notes & PMs from St-Dumas' never-finished View Askew game, too Boy, do I like that "download as TXT" option for PMs!

It is tricky, and even if there wasn't the mass rb, that could have made a huge difference since we had powercopped Rokk and planned the undoctorable guided hit that night.
The only reason we planned that is because we copped him as the RT reverse RB Night 1, so he was a clear threat in addition to being Rokk. Since Rokk is a scary player if he's not on your team.
