Faust gets Pink: Once per turn, Felix Faust may reroll a single d6, ignoring the original result. Felix Faust must be within range and line of fire of the character for which the original roll was made. This ability may be used even if the original roll used 2 dice. Not game breaking, but could be useful maybe.
Speaking of Faust, he uses the ID Card for ADW67 Hawkeye.
Zatanna Perplexes his Damage to 3
Hawkeye will start with RS to L8 on Black Panther, AV11 on DV17. Gest 7. SS is 5, but with Precision Strike on Hawkeye, that's enough. 3 to Panther.
As he hit, he can repeat. Let's RS to M9 on Deathstrike, AV11 on DV17. SC is 4. Rolls 10 and hits her for 3.
He can keep going. Next shot's on Apache Chief, AV11 on DV18. Gets 11. 2 to him after Toughness.
Geez, this Hawkeye's crazy. Continues. RS to P11 on Voodoo. AV11 on DV16. Gets 6. KOs her.
RS to P14 on Geo-Force. AV11 on DV16. Gets 9. KOs him too.
RS to M17 to block Voodoo. On Scarlet Witch. AV11 on DV18. Gets 6, and his reign of terror ends, but my gosh, that was insane. At least as bad as Faust's "make an attack targeting everyone within 5 squares of your choice of square" would have been.
Thunderstrike to N14 on Lady D, AV10 on DV17. Gets 5. Zatanna makes it 7. 3 more to her. KB to N17 and Thunderstrike heals another click.
"This little spell should give them something to chew on," Felix Faust said, releasing a chain lighting bolt that leapt from one member of the other team to another. When it was done, Geo-Force and Voodoo were both down and several others were hurt.
"And I thought I had good lightning tricks," Thunderstrike said, zapping Lady Deathstrike.
Tusk on Doomsday. Needs 8, rolls 9. 1 to him, kos Tusk.
Panther makes Doomsday's dv 16.
Lady D turns off her indom and flurries on Doomsday. That is, if Wanda can break her away. 5. Tks her back to N14.
Lady D needs 7, rolls 2. Wanda makes it 2 again. Wow. No need to have bothered turning off her indom.
Lots of bad rolls against Doomsday. Maybe I can change my luck. Old school Spiral replaces Lady D in N14.
Spiral needs 6 on Dooms, rolls 9. BCF: 6. 1 more to him. 2nd attack is also 9. BCF: 4. Another to him. So far this turn Doomsday's taken 3, 4 damage altogether.
I really didn't want to use Apache Chief on this but he'll try to finish Doomsday. Needs 6, rolls 8. KOs him.
Okoye makes a new pair of rhinos. One ports and moves to M13 to block.
Not really what I need right now but they're on my list and frankly, I'd like to heal Panther a bit. Enter Cloak and Dagger. Voyager tks them to I15.
They make a Dagger pog. She needs 7 to heal Panther, rolls 11. Heal is 6. That's nice.
Well, you succeeded in forcing me to address the monster in the room. Wish I could've addressed some of your many other annoying figures instead.
"Are you ready to do what is needed, Spiral?" Cloak asks.
"I was born ready," Spiral says moving in on Doomsday, "Maybe Lady Deathstrike's claws didn't do the job but she had only two. I've got six blades." She proceeds to cut deeply into the creature.
"Let me help you out, Panther," Dagger says as her touch heals him.
"What can I do, kiddos?" the Creeper asks.
"Just stand there and look ridiculous," Spiral says.
Outsiders is a silver bullet to this Doomsday. It's still annoying that you have to hit him only for 1 every time, but without the steadily climbing DV, it's not that big a deal if you focus on it.
Rolling the die for Felix. Let's see what I get. Brown: Opposing characters combat values cannot be modified or replaced unless the replacement would halve the value. Potentially quite nice.
Zatanna SIdes to L8, TKs Slapstick to K13, Perplexing his AV to 11
Slapstick takes HSS, tries to hit Dagger on his way out. AV11 on DV17, Gets 2. Zee makes it 3. He ends J4
And I have a really good figure to play it with, though I'm blowing through my last batch of points quickly, I'll take Giganto at 200
Evolutionary Outwits the Invulnerable on the Rhino closest.
He teleports, moves to K/L12/13 and uses his Mass Destruction to Quake, with AV11. Gets 8. Cloak and Panther get SS rolls. 1 and 5, respectively. Dagger's KOd and she can't come back. Rhino is KOd. Cloak takes 2 and KB to H16 for 2 more. Spiral takes 1, KB to O15. Apache Chief takes 1, no KB for a Giant.
"Hey, no fair! You're not supposed to duck when I try to hit you," Slapstick complained as Dagger did just that. "Hey...something smell...fishy to you?"
Giganto, the massive whale-monster swung his giant fluke-tail, taking out several of the enemy.
Speaking of Faust, does his brown power effect Apache Chief Inuk Chuk bonuses?
It affects combat values. So it would cancel out his AV bonus and the conditional Damage bonus against Giants/Colossals (and a good thing for Giganto it does). It wouldn't affect his actual Size or Giant Reach as those aren't Combat Values.
Fixing the Recap here. You're right. Not only the two you mentioned, but Zatanna and one of her bats were off too.
So I like what Faust's got now, the Brown Outsider-like power. Let's see if I can keep it. I roll a d6 and get 5. I can choose to roll his die 20. If I choose not to, I can keep that power. I will.
Start with Thunderstrike. He will take the easy route and Force Blast Cloak. Since it's not an attack, Cloak's SC and SS don't come into play. Rolls 1. Worst case. Does Knock him back to P11, but not off the edge, so no KO. Thunderstrike does get to heal 1 though.
High Evolutionary to J7, Outwits the Rhino's Invulnerable.
Giganto can still go with Colossal Stamina, even if he's pushed. Just means he'll push again, but probably worth it, I hope. Zee Perplexes his AV to 12. He'll use his Mass Destruction power again. Creeper gets Shape Change before anything else happens. Gets 5. He's not targeted. Rolls 10 to hit the rest. Panther gets SS again. Rolls 2 this time. Takes the 2. Charge prevents KB. Apache Chief takes 1, no KB. Rhino is KOd. Spiral takes 1 more, and KB 1 more to P15. Giganto himself takes 1 for doing it.
Slapstick takes HSS again. Goes to O11 to try for Cloak. SC Is 3. AV10 on DV17. Gets 7. SS is 2. KOs Cloak and ends in his spot to block.
Eraged and in pain, Giganto lashed out again with his tail continuing to cause destruction.
"I was going to say, be glad you're over here and not over there," Thunderstrike said to Cloak, "but here is probably not a very good place for you to be either." He swung his hammer but Cloak floated backwards in the darkness just out of reach. Then another hammer bonked Cloak on the head from behind.
"See tellin' 'em what you're gonna do, telegraphing it like that, it's all dramatic, but it let's 'em get away. Sneaking up and bopping 'em from behind, now that's comedy!" Slapstick pointed out.
