Some new rules clarifications on heroclix.com. Of value: Errata on some figs. Powergirl you know, GL/Flash has range now (another, 'oh, we always intended him to have this power' instance), MM/Oberon can be TK'd via his white power, Sh/BA is a non-duo character when played at 140 (allows for some interesting portability options).
Beyond that are a couple rulings. Main one, which I kind of disagree with, is that while traits cannot be outwitted, if the wording says that the character possesses an ability, that ability can be outwitted.
For instance, Venoms Leap/Climb can't be outwitted, because he 'Can Use' Leap/Climb, but BM/GA's Sharpshooter can be outwitted because they Possess the ability, as though it were on the dial.
I really hate that ruling. Overcomplicates things, gets into semantics. Kind of defeats part of the purpose of traits, which I thought was to put un-outwittable powers into play.

I agree with you, and I disagree with you. My codename is "Gemini".
My POV - I thought traits were there for two reasons:
1) To give someone a power that can't be outwitted, like a Team Ability.
2) To give someone a power that they always possess, thus freeing it up that spot on the dial (or not needing to make a white power that says "this character has This and This - and if you cancel one you cancel both).
By the first reason, I obviously don't think it should be Outwittable. By the second reason, I think it should be Outwittable.
However, my desire to have streamlined rules makes me think it should be sticking closer to reason number 1.
Has anyone here tried to play the game (as another Realmser suggested, and others may have thought up on their own) where a move action does NOT give a character an action token, but it DOES count towards you action count for the turn? If yes, what do you think of it?

I havent. But I dont like the idea anyway.
If its not a free action, then take a token.
"And I shall make little coins with my head on them and place them in the thongs of your strippers."
Is there a percentage of how much your build has to be BATB? Or is it just all BATB? I figured by the 'floor' that there's siome minimum percentage.
And outwittable traits = stupid. I thought these new rules are supposed to make things simpler. Or that's at least how they were touted. Outwit is now going to be one of the most confusing powers in the game.
