Is this the event for this coming Sunday? It says April 21st.

Is it Fellowship only? Somebody told me when I was in there the other day that you usually do Fellowship only games when not a major event. I like to know because when I know games are fellowship, I like to try out teams that I know may not be competitive.

All other tournies are fellowship based, where you rate your opponents for each round.

Vault of Midnight

The Vault has joined the WizKids Event System, and the hope is to have a case of Fear Itself to play. Please note that the store does not have the OP kit yet, so watch the WES for official scheduling and updates.

The plan is 1 FI booster plus 1 (blind) gravity feed figure. This will be to help the store move some back stock. The force total will be 300 points.

If few enough players show up (unlikely) we will have the opportunity to expand to a second FI booster.

Prices have not been set yet.

400 points golden age KING OF THE HILL.
Single base figures only and no resource dials.

King of the hill rules: All players battle it out on one map, with the center square being the top of the hill. When occupying said square, you may deal one unavoidable damage to any figure at the beginning of your turn.

There will be prizes for the last player standing, the player that eliminates the most points worth of figures, and a fellowship vote.

FEAR ITSELF MONTH ONE

The suggested format for the Month One Event is a 300 point, Sealed event utilizing two (2) HeroClix Boosters per player: one (1) Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself Booster pack, and one (1) other HeroClix (not Fear Itself) booster of your choosing.

Prior to the event, players will “declare their allegiance” to one of the two Fear Itself Factions: “The Worthy” or “The Mighty.” They are now fighting for victory on behalf of their chosen Faction. They will utilize the appropriate Additional Team Ability for their faction (provided in the Month One Fear Itself kit) on their force.
Additional Information: Cost will be $30.00, which includes your Fear Itself booster and one other $11.99 booster of your choice from what we have in stock the day of the tournament. Seating is limited to 20, registration is open now. Payment in full is required to register.

Fear Itself part deux!

Since we had such a low turnout for our month one event, we only used half of our boosters. In fact, everyone got two boosters, and we still have 10 left over!

As such, we're doing a "Month One part deux" event. As before, $25 buy-in. One booster of FI, one of Batman, Teen Titans, or ASM. If we have another small turnout, it'll be two boosters of FI.

Participators can get a Book of the Skull if you don't have one yet, and there will be mystery LE prizes for the winners.
