A man flying in a hot air balloon suddenly realizes he’s lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts to get directions, “Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?” The man below says: “Yes. You’re in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field.” “You must work in Information Technology,” says the balloonist. “I do” replies the man. “How did you know?” “Well,” says the balloonist, “everything you have told me is technically correct, but It’s of no use to anyone.” The man below replies, “You must work in management.” “I do,” replies the balloonist, “But how’d you know?” “Well”, says the man, “you don’t know where you are or where you’re going, but you expect me to be able to help. You’re in the same position you were before we met, but now it’s my fault.”
I can't give Harpua Rep again without giving it to someone else first, but the Buffalo zookeeper story was awesome.
How Angi's cat was able to get back in was more of a mystery than getting out, but it turns out he was able to pretty much do the same thing as he did to get out. At that house he could only open the screen door, and would get his paw under the door, gradually getting a rocking motion going until the play in the latch allowed him to jerk it open. Had it been a new door, it would not have worked I assume.
At our new house, Sampson can actually open up the sliding glass door out to the back porch. It weighs a #### ton, so I have no idea how he can get the torque required, but he works with one of the dogs to let her back in after we've put them all outside. Sampson can slide it open about a snout's width, then the dog pries it open the rest of the way. We caught that in action finally.
We now have to lock the door all the time so he doesn't just open it to leave whenever.
Good cover story.
I kid. FBI, you read white text, right?
Funny, I thought the same thing as I was telling my wife what must have happened. Since her mom was sitting there too, I felt even more awkward! No way do I escape that one without a hint of impropriety in their minds, even though I am 100% innocent!
Thank god they didn't see Bud's pictures. After 4 years, She Don't Know Me!
Watching Daredevil reminds me of something my dad did at a family picnic. My mom's uncle is blind, and my dad put some grass on a plate and told him it was a salad.
