It's strange though. Dragons have gotten severely overlooked in the GX series. Of course when the lead character uses a fairly stable and realistic deck, as do his friends, variety will tend to drop off.
All you need for a good FGD deck is future fusion, dragons mirror, exploder dragon, infernal dragon, and masked dragon. If done right you can get FGD in play within 5 turns, if you get future fusion and dragons mirror in your opening hand you can have 2 FGDS on the field on turn 2.
Level up monsters (Horus and Armed Dragon) also help to play FGD with dragons mirror, as it puts Dragons into the graveyard.
if you want to use the five headed dragon you can use cards like huge revolution and the law of the normal and other cards like that then use the card that turns them into dragons and then fuse them this probably wouldn't be good for a dragon deck but since he's a dragon type...
i have blue eyes shining dragon is there away to get around the summoning cost of offering the ultimate dragon (i don't have one)?
Nope, its a nomi.

Remove from play, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).
if you have forgotten the armed dragons are at the moment the most common dragon but the 2 higher levels are quite rare by that i meanthe level 7 & 10. but one of my favorite dragons is five headed dragon wich by using the right cards i can bring out on the first turn
in replie to your info yes they are powerfull but there are others that are evan more powerfull.
so next time you go and post somthing about dragons dont forget the armed dragons

I have a solution and it's called Summoner of Illusion. If you have him on the field with another monster tribute the other monster and then bam Blues-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and then if you have your BESD in your hand just summon it right a way because you only have until the end of the turn to take advantage of Summoner of Illusions effect. Well there you go I hope this well help you out a little.

1. A do believe it's a little far past the date of when the question was asked.
2. He was talking asking if there was another way to summon BESD without having to tribute BEUD for a cost. There are plenty of ways to "quickly" summon him but he still needs to tribute BEUD.
Infernal dragon is he worth putting on a deck?
I've been trying to built the ultimate dragon deck for years now , but I have not suceeded. I would like ur opinion on King dragun in a FHD Deck. Also I tend too run out of dragons when I use future fusion and dragons mirror.
