Why vote me off though? Quebbs was a far more obvious target (and the fact he jumped on me right away should have been a tell all that he couldn't be trusted).
I would probably have done precisely the same thing if I had been town. I did freak out when pressured though... But I am always suspicious of resurrected characters.
Had I been a little bit more familiar with the Blackest Night storyline I might not have jumped at you the way I did though - I did not know at the time that "Rise" is the command of a Black Lantern ring.
I debated giving you a one shot rez after your own rez. That way it'd seem like a black lantern cult forming, but figured it might be a bit too many rez's in a game.
Man, that would have been awesome, I could have really worked with that.
Going neutral and vanilla isn't as bad, because then people will leave you alone.
Being neutral and town though stinks.
I've done something similar once (but masoned them, so they could at least talk at night, know who they could trust, and try to form some kind of voting synergy), but likely won't use it again.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"

Not a good idea though, makes you look guilty by jumping on a lynch with little or poor info right away to railroad the day.
Now, if someone caught me with my hand in the cookie jar, that's one thing. Piling on a resurrected character who claims self resurrection (ie that he wasn't resurrected) and trying to get a vote going that fast looks suspect.
Were I not the resurrected person I would still have found you to be looking mighty shady/guilty over that.
Pressure the person some, sure, but to try to get a vote going that quick (I mean it was like 30 minutes after the phase opened) without a good reason is...erm.

yeah, I totally spazzed a bit. I may have let it take a full hour if I had been Town.
(And don't worry Truffle, you're an X-Man of sorts, you'll come back to life in a few dozen issues at worst... )
Maniac, I actually did have a fake RC, which I hinted at but FMF took the completely wrong direction (Tim the Enchanter, from Monty Python and the Holy Grail). Didn't mind that though.
Honestly, I was quiet more due to work schedule than anything else, but in this case it worked in my favor. And I do hate RCing without a darn good reason. Or at least votes (which no one was pushing).

Had you waited a bit on the voting, you guys might have pulled it off. Wait until you get a few other people buying into it and see if you can get it going then. Less likely to look quite so guilty.

I know who you were claiming as, but when FMF turned and thought that meant guide and you didn't correct him. I knew something was wrong.
Plus, what would Tim be doing, likely either vig or role block, and we knew who the town people were for that.
Save for my death, I would have been asking you questions.

Yeah, I probably overcompensated a little when I tried to play the game the same way I would have had I been Town. I obviously wasn't doing a very good job since I ended up on a lot of people's radars.

Well, we knew about you right away, or had a pretty good idea, since I tried to NK you Night 1 I think, and I failed. Which we figured to be the 50% fail rate for same element, though it wasn't specified.
And Maniac, that's why we captured you when we did. I'm REALLY surprised people didn't pick up on that.
"Hmmm... the people asking questions about malakim and Lof are dying the next night. NOTHING WEIRD ABOUT THAT!"

Probably, yeah. We did nothing to mess with you that night, at least.

And really, we just had an advantage being the "secondary mafia" in the fact that I was making about all the kills, and I was water/ice based, so people were thinking that there was a doubler. I don't think anyone realized there could be a second mafia until Trufflestar got whacked.

mal, you failed for the exact reason you guessed, but VDB and I coudlnt' come flat out and tell you that.
by the way, night 1 was a little weird - I was told I failed, yet the writeup clearly showed me using my roleblock and the janitoring went off as planned... What exactly happened there?
