Maybe Angel will be around 40 points and Professor X will be around 60. That way we can have a First Class X-Men team for 300 points!


Also, I hope that First Class Angel doesn't AE or Morph into Archangel. I don't believe F.C. Angel turned into him at all so for "comic accurate" purposes we don't need him to be an AE of any kind.

see, this is the glory of the book. it's the whole team, and they took foom down by themselves(no small feat). all of them are actually bitter and kinda a loser. they cope with this by lashing out on their enemies. tabitha,elsa, and aaron are the worst. i think they'll be great in clix because they all kinda don't care, and just beat the crap out of you. thats perfect for a game where anyone can team with anyone. i'm running them ASAP!

they shouldn't equal 300pts either. the captain himself better be over 150. monica should have phasing and some hss, with a splash of psy blast. the thing about tabitha is her mutant ability. i hope they figure out a way to do it right. aaron should be a indom. robot killing machine. elsa is like warlord(dc75) but better, with range and she kills monsters for a living. i expect her to do well against giants or monster keyword. it's what she does. anymore questions?? i know everyone in this set!!

There were periods where the New Mutants attended classes/sessions alongside the Hellions, I imagine there are pictures of certain Hellions in the yellow and blue... but still its a stretch to picture him as a hellion... he will have the NM keyword right?!

That's a tough one. The closest thing I could see would be repainting an Armor that's not in the shell.

First commons are usually the easier to get and those are pretty cool to have multiples of: Madrox,Purifier,Omega Sentinel (old sentinels from the Ultimate set if you don't want multiple girls sentinels),Hellfire guards,Mindless ones,Reavers (swap some heads and you can make a ton as in their first appearance)...and Wolverine the ubiquitous...:D
Theme or not,I still don't know what I prefer but I really like the fact they're trying a set strongly themed.

no prof x should be 60 pts bro. if he is, he's either WAAAAY undercosted or just done wrong. i don't think we were menat to have the first class and prof. x on the same team in 300 modern.

I'm pretty pumped about this set, but have some key concerns.

1. There's Lockheed! Awesome! Now where's Kitty!?!
2. Where's Toad?

Also, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver needed remakes, but I'm not complaining as they already have several versions still legal in modern.

Well, like I said - Beast is always cool. Not so much a complaint as I would rather have had M or one of the New X-men. But I'm sure he'll be cool.

Okay then, how about F.C. Angel being 50 points and Professor X being the most powerful 150 point mutant psychic cranked up on Cerebro/a? This would make them a nice and tidy 400 points.
