As it happens I got bad news last night. Yet another job interview that I was waiting to hear from said "thanks, but no thanks." Needless to say by the time I got home I was too drained to do anything but hit the sack. Don't mean to be a buzzkill, but 4 months is the longest I have been unemployed, ever. Before that, it was nine weeks. Anyway, suffice it to say that I apologize for leaving you all hanging - but the game is not over YET!

Thanks, Truffle. I really felt like getting s_faced last night. Fortunately I don't keep booze in the house any more and the better option was to go to bed and get a good night's sleep. It also helped that I had made plans to spend Friday afternoon and evening with my three older girls. Nothing like daughter therapy to cheer me up. One day when they grow I will be able to thank them for all of the good that they bring into my life.

I am receiving unemployment and am in the process of selling off my collectibles, including Heroclix, comics, statues, etc. I have been making good money, especially from items such as my complete DC/Marvel 1970's bronze age Jack Kirby titles. The only things I can't bear to part with for sentimental reasons are my Captain America lithograph auto'ed by Jack Kirby and my Bat-Mite statuette.
