I like it. Barrier squads might prove difficult. You'd want to AE RJ into Genis-Vell for his base 3 damage to blow up terrain.

Clocks in at just under points, and comes with a variety of support powers. Tarot offers a potential secondary damage dealer as well, and she packs some support if Ultron takes a hit. Cosmo should help Ultron be able to set up Pulsewaves, and can also give her the PD/Enhance on normal shots. Thoughts?
How do you reliably break through barrier? I know Tarot if you hit Devil doesn't care about walls, blocking terrain, or barrier but what happens if you don't roll for Devil. Ultron is fantastic but if she can't see, she can't shoot.
For a competitive, fun to play inexpensive team try.

Try and grab an extra prob control with tarot in first turn or 2. Wait for opponent to go for Zodiac key then swap it for red kryptonite. Have Abin Sur carry Scorpio onto the Red Kryptonite turn one. Hopefully Catwoman will not destroy the Zodiac Key.
Used this team in a tournament and it outperformed my expectations. Also no Gauntlet for those that do not like to use it.
The stranger will be good if for no other reason he can spin the infinity gauntlet every turn and then heal back by choosing regen. You cannot underestimate the ability to move down the dial every turn.

He didn't get banned, he's just not a big part of the Meta right now. He loses pretty regularly to Stranger Barrier and to some of the other teams out right now.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.

Thanos is not a reliable piece for the highest level of competition. He lacks move and attack. He has a short dial. At 150 pts, his 17 defense is very soft. On the right map, he won't get the first attack.
At 300 pts, he will pretty easily get out-actioned. His values are sick on that first click, but then not so much...

Ultron can destroy a square, then Cosmo can TK one of the Agents out since they're easy to hit. I would also likely have either Prob or Perplex from Tarot, so it becomes easier to hit. With this, I'm out of range for at least Stranger. And if Tarot hits Devil or Death, she can be TK'd in to hopefully help/draw fire. If I ultimately push Cosmo, I can have my own 2 turns of Barrier.
I'm not sure my team is good, I just wanted to see some input. I tested tonight, but hardly against a meta pick. I'll have to give it a few more runs.
I was thinking a team like this, as stated earlier the Captain benefits greatly from a full gauntlet:

Firstly you get a soldier theme team to help with map choice and prob cons. Ross can airstrike any turtling teams and then AE into Red Hulk and suicide dive while Cap carries around Talbot for Theme Team PC and Enhancement while he spins the Gauntlet dial.
Now that the full gauntlet is out, what do you expect to see that wasn't viable before?
IMO, WL Flash. Now he has outwit protection and willpower and is so tough to catch. Time gem is a bit of waste for him but soul gem is beastly since steal energy will work with HSS. He's priced well enough that you can get some good support in as well.
