The Re. 2000 is the Italian Airplane that the Italians barely used, right?

It did not live up to their expectations, so they exported it to Hungary and somewhere else who had an ever worse military than the Italians.

Actually Italy had relatively good equipment, just bad commanders IMO. The Italian navy was pretty well outfitted when WWII broke out.


I love me some military history.

Yeah, like all but a choice few Italian planes, the Re.2000 was underpowered and armed, but it was used fairly well. Not sure of production #, but I think maybe 200 ish? It was a virtual twin of the P-35. The Italians were a hot mess in every way, but I loved the Fiat G.55 and the Re.2005.
