So my son apparently is teething, and has taken to eating my Validus to help soothe the pain. It looks hilarious.

And no one told me about this crap? I am dying to see this movie, and I'm having to settle for a terrible copy online. This blows.

Remember Cloverfield?! Imagine that movie, already shaky and dark "found footage", now have it shot in a crappy theatre by a guy holding the camera too low, and then watch that #### on your laptop screen while fighting to keep awake. What a headache!! Literally it gave me a horrible headache. And then we had a K-9 unit die that day, so I felt even worse. I came home and watched it on DVD and was like "wow, this movie is pretty awesome!"

I'm upset because I don't really care about very many movies, and this is one that I am really wanting to see. I just wonder how or if it was advertised.

I almost got some respect back for the game today!

I did too, until I read the thread Jeterey started about the nerfs impacting his World's teams. I don't mind the guy that much, but some of the defense posts made me realize why I fell out of love with this game so ####ing much over the past couple years.

Somehow the game went from a super hero miniatures game that had intermittent gamer domination via LAMP, SIF, or what have you, to a game that is COMPLETELY gamer dominated bull####. Sure you can still pretend like your favorite characters still matter, but it is so firmly rooted in powergaming now, that it saddens me.

I wonder what the percentage breakdown is between comic & movie fans and casual gamers is vs the meta gamers? Even if it is way closer than I suspect, like 70/30, I am still befuddled by what direction clix wants to go in?


But yeah, I do like the official decision site, so I will get off my soapbox!

Honestly though, it's only like that if you go to a high-level event, or if you have really terrible frequenters of your venue.
