Villans Story post

Things had not gone the way Anton Arcane had hoped. His team was now in shambles. He had lost one and the rest were not helping his cause.

"Curse you junior heroes, He screamed, " know this Anton Arcane will not be denied his birthright. Ultimate power will still be mine! Grodd destroy the morphling!" he commanded.

"This is getting out of hand Arcane. The authorities and maybe the JLA will be here shortly. We should get out of here and come back another time." He responded

"NO! Ultimate power can not wait now attack the morphling!"

"Very well but at the first sign of reinforcements I am outta here" was his response.

I hope Cheetah is doing better than us he thought to himself.

Meanwhile in another part of the museaum,

"AIYEE!" screamed cheetah as the cloaked witch attacked her.
She had taken a swing and drawn blood earlier so the response was justified but not welcomed.
"Witch you and your overgrown ATM friend will pay for that! DIE!!!" she yelled as she lunged to attack!

Okay, time's up. Looks like the Titans got saved by the bell. However, since Fut_Baller went first, Oogie will get to take his last turn, and then this game will be over.

Due to the large lag time between the last move and my need to go, I will simply pass and hope for the best.

CLOSING STORY POST

As Changeling and Cyborg fell to the ground almost at the same time, Starfire flew up in the air, hoping to gather some room to think. How could everything have gone so wrong so quickly? She turned, readying an energy blast, when she saw a massive, hairy fist swat at her. She barely evaded the blow from Grodd, realizing she was not nearly as high as she thought she was. Grodd began to throw another punch, when a red blur sped into the room and pounded Grodd with a fury of blows.
"The Flash!" Grodd said in surprise.
"These little ones must have called for help," Arcane said ruefully. "Which means even more could be on the way. Another time then. Grodd, cover our escape."
"My pleasure," Grodd said, engaging the Flash as the other villains made a hurried exit.
Meanwhile, Raven came out of hiding to see her fallen comrades.
"Are they okay?" Starfire asked.
"I don't know. My abilities may be able to help, but we should go somewhere else." So saying, Raven opened up a portal, and brought the Titans away from the museum.

Neither the Titans, nor the fleeing villains, nor the Flash noticed a glass display that had been broken in the conflict. Nor did they notice the strange ooze that came from it.
