1) M.O.D.O.K.(11 + 1 from Barry's Hydra TA) will atempt to push to MC Spidey(15), roll...........5,6 for 11.

As a result Spidey feels a need to say 'hi' to Black Panther, Spider will punce(+1 attack and damage) to L-12, so the roll is 10 vs 15 for 5, roll......1,4 for 5. Just barely but Black Panther is KOed, Spidey takes one for the punce, M.O.D.O.K. will take one for the push

2) Flap(8) will target Dagger(16), roll..........1,2 for 3 miss. For those who are interested the SS roll was a 3.

3) Red(6) will try to hit Spidey(14) while his SS's are still outwitted, roll.........4,2 for 6. Miss

4) Scorpion will Punce to M-16 and attack Electra, roll is 9 vs 15 for a possible 3, roll.........5,6 for 11(again). Electra will take 3, and Scorpion will take 1 for the punce.

As M.O.D.O.K. was finally able to think clearly without that annoying creature disturbing his equipment, he was able to formulate a more permanent plan to deal with the black clad warrior.

Looking at object 771, M.O.D.O.K. forced his will to attack his target.......unable to fight him the one known as Spiderman took the object he was holding and downed one of his would-be-rescuers.

M.O.D.O.K: Objective complete, target contained.

Barry: Wow.....remind me not to get on your bad side.

M.O.D.O.K.: Do not get....

Barry: Never mind.

As Spiderman was now starting to come to his senses he was still a bit foggy.....there seemed to be several people shooting him but his body went into auto-dodge to avoid the attacks.

Elsewhere Mac Gargon was eager to try out the new improvements on his suit........but not on the spider yet. If it failed he's be out before he even knew it. But she would do nicely........coiling his tail behind him Scorpion was launched in the air catching the Greek assassin off guard.

Scorpion: That'll do just fine I think......ah, look the spider. (smiles evilly)

Scorpion can't make that Pounce for the same reason that Spidey couldn't do his Pounce. He started in hindering.

Nice move with the MC. Very nasty. Poor T'challa

As the creature landed beside M.O.D.O.K. it's circuits were starting to be effected.

M.O.D.O.K.: Switching to secondary protection measures......wait.....low probability of success.....option 45 recommended.

As M.O.D.O.K. turned his chair around he flashed his repulsors right in Tyrones chest......unable to avoid it in time cloak started to lose his balance....until the Black Cat jumped up to steady him.

Black Cat: You know.....the spider never falls of buildings.(smiling)

M.O.D.O.K.: Outside transmission being received...........

As Cloak struggled to keep his balance even with the help of the Black cat he was unable to shield himself from the prying eyes down below.

Flap: Target sighted, Decker.....10:00 o'clock.

Decker: On it.

M.O.D.O.K.:...transmission received you terms are acceptable. Sending information to all field operatives.

Falp/Decker/Barry: What?!?!?

As the agents started looking for different targets they noticed some girls in black suits.....Decker and Flap both took their shots.

Elsewhere Scorpion was having some suit malfunctions, and couldn't hit the weakened assassin.

Bugger. I'm up to my FOURTH issue and Super Senses still hasn't saved me even ONCE. Unbelievable. I should be due for a whole game of SS saves soon surely!

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who mistypes locations on occassion. Actually...I can't quite see how you could've placed the barrier there and still have LOS to it with Barry.

Also, are you sure about Force Blast? Like that power needed any more nerfing. Must be a new ruling, cause it certainly didn't used to require a SS roll.

If M-8 Barrier had been typed O-8 all would have been right in the world...on that front.

Yeah, I checked on the Force blast, apparently because it is an 'attack' it is subject to dodge attempts.

I don't know when it came came into effect but I would suspect when the power action thing happened......most things we miss now are when that changed....too much to change over in one shot.

Oh mis-typing positions happens to all of us. Happened to me in the Maul of America and I was constantly 1 square off where I needed to be for something like the next 4 turns.

Hey..if you had've put the barrier behind Cloak, wouldn't it have just given him one click for knocking him into a wall? If so...I wish you'd done that instead...especially since he still gets his Super Senses roll (not that those actually help me at all )

Have I mentioned how much I love Critical Misses. That one right there...that just lost the game for me. My BEST figure rolls it on a PUSH! All I needed was a lousy 5 to do 3 clicks to your monstrous figure. MODOK would've been darn near finished. MK would've hit him as well (needing a 4), and he'd be on his last click. But instead, my whole team is stuffed. My 18pt Moon Knight is the best guy I have.

Man, I had so much hope after last turn. And now it's all been dashed away.

I was about to do a huge catch up story post tonight, but don't know if I'm going to feel like it now. Critical Misses take so much fun out of the game. Worst frickin' rule in the book.

And I must add....

Never have I been more tempted to lie about my dice roll. Can I just resign from this game right now? I don't see how I can possibly win it after that Crit miss. Ironically, if it had hit, it looked like I would've had this in the bag.
